Pregnancy & Parenting - 14 September 2006

I was on birth control (various) for approx. 7 years. I've been off of all forms of birth control for about 2 years, and still don't have a normal period. I get it about every month and a half to two months, and it's normal. I'm seriously thinking about having children within the next while, and I'm wondering if you've had a similar experience and how easy/difficult it was for you to get pregnant. Thanks in advance :)

I feel like a terrible parent for feeling this way! Of course I go and sit through all the stuff because I want my 8-year-old daughter to know I care about her, but I am SO BORED sitting on bleachers for hours! I know it means a lot to her, so I do it. But when I look around at all the other parents, they look like they're really into it. Please someone tell me I'm not alone for feeling this way!

I do this and think of a certain boy and feel a release. I don't touch myself. He tells me that he does almost the same thing except he falls asleep and dreams about me. He told me that his mom knows he does that and allows it if it isn't too often. We are comfortable with each other and can share our secrets. His jameys are usually wet after that. We are both in our teens. My religion teaches that it is wrong to masturbate. I hope that is not masturbation.

I carried a baby too four an a half months and it had edwards syndrome. My sister in law carried her baby full term and lost the baby a few days after birth. I am always looking for new info.

I am 7 week spregnant and I have a huge problem. I can't quit smoking. I am trying, but I can't. I am eating healthy, exercising, taking my vitamins, etc... but I just can't quit. I know all of the horrible risks I am putting on the baby, as well as myself. I hate myself more and more for it, but I just can't. Please no put downs, just genuine advice PLEASE!

What is a good age to go to the gynecologist for the first time?
If the person has started their period for awhile, which is irregular.

My little girl is 11 mo's old. When she gets excited she hits, slaps, scratches, and pulls hair. She's not mad when she does it, but when I tell her, "No hitting, that hurts mommy!" She bursts out crying like I bit off her toe. How do I stop the hitting and crying?

I have just break up with my boyfriend, and i can not foret him. then now i just forout that i got his baby, anh i tel him and he ask mi to AB it... as if i give birth we will all suffer....

But i really want the baby but i am very very scare... i dun know what to do.... how? is it the best if i and the baby end our life here? I feel like maybe i should end my life so i will have to worry anymore... How i am really scare not sure what to do...

I am 37 weeks pregnant. the doctor has prescribed zantec for my heartburn and I also add mayloxx before bed. I still get heart burn!!! anything else safe to take during pregnancy? i gave up on tums and rolaids long ago!

A girl in my grade went to a wedding a few weeks ago with her family i from what she said someone put drugs in her drink so she couldnt remember anything from the night. So today she says she found out she was pregnant. With the exception of her best friends I was the first guy she told this to. She said that i was the only guy she knew who would have a practical understanding answer. She told her parents and they dont know who it might have been either. I would like to have people to talk to about Aspergers. I have a ten year old who was diagnosed when he was six. Whne he was diagnosed I was fine with it. I would go to the school and eat lunch with him and was in constant communication with his teachers. But lately I just don't think I want to face it. I make up every excuse not to go to the school. I know that he is different then the other kids but I really don't notice until he is around the kids at school. So it is like a slap in the face because I know that my sweet beautiful boy is special. I think I need to speak with other parents who have Asperger's and was wondering if there were people here who are dealing with what I am dealing with. please help!

I work for an attorney that had me look up info on abortions, i do believe a women should have a choice but i dont believe a women should be able to have an abortion that far along (6 months) unless its because of a health reason. from what i understand any women for any reason can have an abortion that far along its just going to cost her more.

Me and my boyfriend have been trying for a couple months now to get pregnant. I've been off BC for around a year. Thus far, I've had my period every month, and every test I've taken has come back negative. I finished up a very normal period around Sept. 7th or so.
