Ok, so I like to think that I have a pretty good sense of style, as does my husband. I love my 6 year old to look handsome all the time, so I do his hair like the guys I know and dress him very cute. (I hope.. lol) The kid looks like a walking Gap ad all the time. My problem is, the kids at his bus stop all seem to wear oversized sloppy clothing and sweatpants and whatnot. Are the styles really that different for children, or do you think the kids that I'm seeing are just icky?

She is happy and fine when she wakes up. We recently did a modified cry it out as she was waking every hour on the hour looking for her pacifier. It only took two nights and three crying jags and she learned to put herself to sleep. Then she started this waking up thing where she'll sit in her crib and talk to herself for anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. It keeps me awake and drives me nuts. I know I shouldn't worry since she's content but I worry she's not getting enough sleep and sometimes I grab her and feed her in bed just to get us both back to sleep. I don't know how to get past this. Any suggestions?

The background details are like this. We were playing around when he ejaculated. He wiped off the semen with his hand, and it was only after an interval of at least ten minutes that he put his hand inside me. During those ten minutes, his hand had rubbed several times against my clothes and my hair. So, are there chances that by the time he put his hand inside me, there was still semen on it? Even in the hospital when the nurse put something in his ears to monitor his earing, she put it at the lowest decibel and still he responded, she said that babies dont normally respond to the lowest decibel noise made in their ears. How about your baby is she/he sensitive to noise?

my baby woke up this morning 9/14/06 with his left eye swollen around the lid up to his eyebrow n i notice that instead of geeting better is getting more red.

inside of his eye is normal but its annoying to see my baby like this

I know I shouldn't let the opinion of a stranger probably 1000 miles away get under my skin, but it really upsets me to see people on here take a persons question(s) and determine that they are a bad parent or screwing their kids up for life. I have seen answers to my questions as well as others questions, where other parents are insulting and making judgements on parents, and instead of simply giving their opinion, they are telling them they are causing emotional damage to their kids, that they shouldn't have had kids, and referring them to parenting websites and books. This forum is to get a variety of opinions, not tell someone they are a bad parent based on a brief glimps into their life, by the quesitons they post. If you had 2 moms and one gave her baby solids at 2 months and the other waited until hers was 6 months, or one mom limits her kids movies to G and the other lets her 10 yrs old watch PG13, why is either one a "Bad Mother"? It is just 2 different ways of parenting.

im filing for sole custody and child support for my baby girl. People that have gone through this, please tell me what will happen? The case is already opened with the "To establich parental relationship" documents and we have a dna test proving he is the father. We are in Los Angeles, California. Court hearing is next month and now I have to serve him with the "Order to show cause" paperwork. Sheriff's dept has tried 3x's and he is dodging them, so it seems. They are going to try again one more time than I will have to have him personally served by a friend - not me. He needs these papers because it has the court date and has to be served by law 9 days before the court days. If he isn't served and tries to tell the court he didn't know about it or make me look bad, can he do that? He is also threatening to use harassment against me. Actually he is harassing me and giving me havoc. He knows I'm not going to pursue harassment charges on him but can he? I think its trival and petty bs
