I took a test five days before my period because I got hives (a condition that is associated with my hyopthyroidism), and wanted to take benadryl, but knew it wasn't safe if I were pregs. At the time, I didn't know if it was good news or bad news (because I really needed some relief from the hives), but the test was positive! Paying a few extra dollars on a chance you may not be was worth it to me.
Soon after, my breasts were tender and I was tired, like with my other two pregnancies. Luckily I rarely threw up (twice within 3 pregnancies), but the nasia was there, but only after about 6 weeks. Also, within the first month of pregnancy, I lost about 5 lbs. Don't know why this is. Good luck and God bless you.

I felt nothing for the first 6 weeks, then it was all down hill from there... especially the throwing up
first symptom... which isnt really a symptom is a missed period.

I knew the next day as well... the main symptom was that my breasts were sore, and they're never sore, not even with a period.

Everybody is different, but most women just "know." There's not any specific symptom, you just know. Good luck to you!
