I had it all day. It was unbearable. By the time the evening came I used to be in tears I felt so miserable with it.
I tried all the natural and self-help remedies - ginger, preggie pops, dry biscuits/toasts etc. It did NOTHING!!!! I could not get rid of the awful awful feeling.
And I had to put up with my mum going on about how she never had any sickness in her pregnancies!
In the end the doctor prescribed me an anti-emetic - Cyclizine. It seemed to help a lot. Its quite safe in pregnancy. Some GPs don't like prescribing anti-sickness meds in pregnancy but others are fine about it - I just needed something - anything - to take the terrible feeling away.
I'm 28 weeks now and to be honest I feel less worried about the pain of labour than many because I honestly feel that the sickness was the worst part of it for me! As an emetophobic (phobia of vomiting) it was extra specially hard for me to deal with.
Speak to your doctor to see if there's anything they can give you for it.

It is normal, I was sick all the time and throwing up constantly even water, I was hospitalized twice for weeks and lost 30 pounds. If you are throwing up make sure you go to the doctor or emergncy room because you might be dehydrated and need IV, they will give you madication that can make you feel better. Also try B6 vitamins they help a lot with ALL DAY sickness

Yes. I have no idea why they still insist on calling it morning sickness. For the first 3-4 months of my pregnancy I had all day and all night sickness !
It did pass though !
Hope you start to feel better soon.

Yes, some women end up in hospital because they are unable to keep much food down.
I tried drinking Spearmint Tea, must be this and not peppermint. I also tried acupuncture...not sure if it made things better or not.
Try eating dry crackers with something you like on them.
Rest as much as you can and reduce stress.
I experienced sickness all day with both my boy and girl and it started to ease around 4-6 months.
See your midwife if your sickness is making life difficult.

Every pregnancy differs I am afraid. Morning Sickness is a misleading name as it can, as you are discovering last all day. Try to always have something in your stomach, I know that is the last thing you want to hear but little and often should help your stomach to accept it slowly. When you wake in the morning your stomach is empty which is why it is generally worst then. I would tell you that it won't last forever but it is little consolation!!
Good Luck with the little un!!

It is called morning sickness because that is the most common time to feel sick, but nausea all day long is not unusual.
I was lucky and did not get it at all, but I could not walk past a butchers without throwing up with my first! I was OK with the other two though.
Every pregnancy is different.

Yes, I felt (with my daughter) sick all day, sometimes was a bit sick, then felt better for a while, then went back to feeling sick again! Awful! People say take ginger etc, never worked for me. Just eat Little and often. Drink plenty.

Yes unfortunatey poor you!
I felt sicker with my second child (a boy) than the first (a girl) so don't believe people who say you feel sicker with a girl because it wasn't the case with me. Unfortunately the only way for me not to feel sick was to eat which is why I was the size of a house by the time my boy was born! :(
