Ask him as a friend. Maybe he'll get to know you, and become more comfortable around you (as long as you don't act really weird and overhint you like him). Sometimes friends can grow into more than friends...

if he says no, then dont force him otherwise you'll have a very spoilt party. just go with another person or a friend of yours and let him see what he missed of not asking you to go to the dance. you can even start now, who knows, he will end up asking you Ã
