Milk will sometimes help. But at this point there really is not much you can do. They baby is squishing almost everything. So until you deliver you could also try sleeping in a semi up right position.

My doctor prescribed Prevacid for me. I had a 30 day prescription and since my prescription has been up I haven't had any really bad heart burn like before the Prevacid. Perhaps you should ask about Prevacid. Rolaids and Tums are a joke just to be honest :)

I had it with all three of my kids.. Don't eat spicy things. Drink alot of milk and put 2 pieces of wood under your bed to raise is about 2 inches just at the head board.. And you get results and a good night sleep. Hang in there. It will all be worth it..

zantac is not really safe, it's a category C medication.
I had to take during my first pregnancy but if I was told to take it now I wouldn't.
I just take tums now, but I've been ok with the heartburn.
Are you watching what you eat?

Although you are so far along, try to sleep propped up a little and on your left side. This will make it harder for the acid to ride up your esophagus.
