I had sexual relations with a woman two days after the end of her period and I'm curious as to how fertile she may be.

She's not likely to have been fertile but it's most definately possible. Generally a woman ovulates (is most fertile) halfway through her cycle. For the average woman that is 14 days after starting her period. That is not written in stone anywhere though. Again, it's definately possible!

Hey Thomas, you can never be sure - it varies from ome woman to another.

Some ovulate or are most fertile on day 14 of their menstrual cycle, mid-cycle or even 14 days before their period is expected. While this may be the case for some women, it may not be true for most, even if their cycles are regular. Her own fertility pattern is unique and only charting it will help confirm which are her most fertile days.

To be fruitful and multiply, you must have sexual intercourse during the period spanning one to two days before ovulation to about 24 hours afterward. The reason: Sperm cells can live for two or three days, but an egg survives no more than 24 hours after ovulation. Unless, of course, fertilization occurs.

Women with an average length cycly (28-32 days) usually ovulate about a week after their period ends. Sperm can live for a few days so she probably take a test just in case.

I highly recommend you read up on ovulation here:

It looks to me like 10 days to two weeks after the end of her period would be the time to get worried.
