Pregnancy & Parenting - 29 August 2006

I had my first many years ago, then two more 5 years later, they were 14 months apart, I relied on the pill, then 5 years ago I had another child, the Dr. said he had to remove one overy and a cyst from the other after her birth and that my uterus was upside down and could not have any more kids, last summer I gave birth to #5, at this time I had my tubes tied. Now the past few months I am feeling that all too familiar feeling again and really kind of frightened, is it possible to be pregnant? Also how dangerous is having so many c-sections?

I am breastfeeding my baby until he is 2 months old then giving him formula after that. I want to try to give him formula now ( 3 weeks old) only at night to get use to formula before making the switch and to sleep through the night longer-should I do so?

I get sick when I run...I have had some weird things going on that lead me to pregnancy. Can that be what makes me sick in Volleyball? I know I shouldnt be playing but if im not pregnant and want to be on the team I have to practice. I have been taking it easy and my coach knows to no diving or running for me. I would like answers not rude insults I go to the DR. friday I am trying to be as careful as possible.

today i went to the doc and he told me i was 1 cm dilated and she has dropped and about 4 hours later i was sitting in my car and i felt wet stuff coming out not a whole lot but enough to get my pants wet and i came home and there was a little brown thing in my under wear not very big at all,could this be some of my mucus plug??also could i go into labor soon??

My period is one week late. I am on the pill (missed a few, but I have before and this has never happened) and it is still late. I have taken 2 HPT's and both have come back negative. Is it too early to tell. I would be about 4 weeks 5 days if I am. Any advice? Serious responses only please.

I had my daughter 3 years ago and due to complications with high blood pressure we almost died it was awful. Now I am preganant again and experiencing some of the same issues and I am scared that I will not be lucky twice. I am so upset I just want to be alone cause I feel no one can underrstand. The doctor seems to believe everything will be fine but they thought that last time. This is my last pregnancy cause I am getting my tubes tied but I am so frightened I need help. I am due to deliever by C section anyday now and the stress is really getting to me can anyone help?

I will ask her to come over and she always says she is busy or doing something but then I find out that she was hanging out with her other friend. It just gets me so frustrated. Also she is smoking and drinking and doing things with guys, lots of things with guys and she is always like you should do some stuff with guys and im like I dont know. I've been trying to get pregnant fo about 2 months. My last period satrted on 8/3. My boyfriend and I tried around the 17 this month. My period isn't due to start for about 5 days. Ive been noticing that my breasts are sore and I have been peeing alot more than usual. Well i've been looking up early signs of pregnany and those are some of then. I had a Doc. app on monday for something else and I told my Doc I was trying to get preg. He told me to just wait and see if i miss my period. Should i just wait? I really want to know.

I am almost a month late getting my period and I have taken about 8 pregnancy tests and all have come out negative. I went to the doctor and she said wait until the beginning of Sep. and if I don't get it she will do some tests. We have four kids ages 7 and under and we are due to have number 5 in the spring. I am not irresponsible, my husband will have his surgery in 2007 to ensure we only have the 5 we want.
