My daughter is 3 1/2 and UNRULY as heck! I am a single mother who works full time so she's in daycare during the day. Between working, spending some quality time with her and keeping up with the house and lawn I feel like I'm losing my mind. Anyone have any tips on how to make a small spoiled child mind? Just looking for what has worked for other parents/single moms. Please no - just spank her comments... that doesn't work!

My boyfriend, who has children, says that my nipples will get bigger and darker when I become pregnant. Right now I am very fair skinned and my nipples are pink...sorry if that's too much information. Anyway, if it happens it happens, but I am just wondering if it happens to everyone. He isn't bothered by it and he said it will go back to normal.

He does fine for his 20 min. a day that we do "school". Today, I taught him the letter I, and it says i. We even did a cute little poem to remember it. Anyway, he did just fine, but when I went to show my husband how well he did earlier today, his mind went blank, and couldn't remember the letter, or the sound it made. What am I doing wrong? How can I enhance his memory skills? Any suggestions mommys?

I am just about 38 weeks along in my pregnancy and I am having this constant pain in my lower abdomen and pelvic area. It's been there for 6 hours now and every time I move, whether it be standing up, sitting down or walking it feels worse. Has anyone else experienced this kind of discomfort? I saw my doctor today and he told me that nothing is going on with the baby but I have had these pains since I left his office.

ok my son just started preschool and when i went to pick him up from school on friday he was acting like he was smoking and i asked him where he saw that and he said it was one of the kids in his class showed him and i know he didnt get that from home because nobody in my family smokes and he didnt say any thing else about it this weekend and then when i picked him up today he was doing it agian and i dont know if i should tell his teacher to see if she sees anything like that going on or just see if it passes ?

I should go to the hospital "right away", I know. But .... how long is right away anyways? I mean, if I would be at my friends house, do I have time to go home, get my husband and my things or should I rush to the hospital and have somebody call my hubby to bring my bag?? How long do I have .... hour, two.... or do I REALLY have to go immediately?
P.S. Mine didn't break yet, just asking.... I'm 39 wks..

A while back, I saw this article online about a girl who gave birth to a boy in the 40's, and the shocker was she was like 5 years old girl. This was documented, but what I would like to know iis what would cause this girls hormones to be realeased into her body causing puberty at such a young age?

I am 17 weeks pregnant and I have heard mant things and I want to know if they are true. I have heard that.... you can't shower or bath in real warm, hot water. honey is bad to eat while pregnant.
A higher belly means the baby is a boy. A lower belly means girl. Shaped like a basketball is boy shaped like a watermelon is a girl.
What do you think????

I love the name Emily, and if my baby is a girl.. I want that to be her first name. I have come up with a few middle names, and I want some opinions on which you like the best. I'm sorry but I just think they look too much like whores for the age group they are targeted at. I don't personally think I'm a bad mother, I was just told that by another mother who disagrees with my decision. What do you think? It's not right or wrong it's just my opinion....

I just recently had a miscarriage. About 3 weeks ago. And I feel guilty. Even though everyone, my doctor included, has told me that it's not my fault. I still feel as if I did something, ate something, etc. that brought this on. I'm 23 and this pregnancy meant the world to me because I had been told that I couldn't have children. Okay well I did it, I told one person I was preg. it was my best friend and it is kind of weird becuase it was so hard. I kept writing noted and tearing them up and finally i finished one, then contemplated on giving it to her..Well I did. I was scared of her reaction becuase she is so honest and right now that is not what i want, but really everything i need. She keeps calling me and i dont have the guts to pick up or call her back becuase im scared. She left me a messae just telling me she really wanted to talk.. i know i need to suck it up and listen. This is so hard...im breaking my own heart. I dont even know myself.. But now i hvae to work on my parents.

Hi, I think i might be pregnant but not 100% sure. I did a test last week but it was negative but i have been feeling so bloated, and having lower cramps lately. Also I bought a new elyptical (exercise) machine and when I go on it for only like 10 minutes I get massive cramps and this morning I vomited only slightly and was so dizzy. Could this be symptoms of early pregnancy? Should I do another test? I would only be a few weeks will a test work?

I, like all of you, was a child once (even if you don't remember it) and that is all it takes to have an opinion and valid perspective on parenting.
You might learn a lot from my 'child's' perspective on parenting and you'd learn even more if you took the time to recall your own childhood experiences in GREAT DETAIL.
It might even vastly improve your parenting skills to remember how it was for you as a child and what helped you and what didn't.

Four days ago, at school, a group of girls just grabbed me and then punched me in the crotch many, many times, giggling. I fell to the ground. They just stood there laughing for a long time! Then I got lucky because it started raining heavily, and I heard them run away. Not long after that I almost throw up my lunch. When I finally got up it was not raining anymore, and so sign of them.
My girlfriend asked me what was wrong with me, I told her and she laughed! I am still a bit sore. I am very scared, they are too many, should I get a taser gun or a baton?
