its not a stupid ? see some people get hiccups during pregnancy...

Omg I know what you mean I am 19 weeks pregnant and I would take attacks of the hipcups for no reason then they would go away. I had them with my first girl. I think its a sign.

I didnt get a lot of hiccup attacks when I was pregnant but I know when my son was inside he got a lot of hiccups, like twice daily...it was funny at first but then got old real quick lol. But who knows it could be associated but I doubt it. All it is your diaphragm spasming. If you are really worried about it, ask your doctor

Possible but not likely. Hiccups are caused when the sphincter between the stomach and the esophagus spasms. This could be caused by it softening due to pregnancy, but not likely.
