well i just found out that i was pregnant like a week or so ago i went to the clinic and gave me an estimated due date march 13th but i go to the doctors friday the 8th what wil they do at my appt???

PLEASE HELP!!!! I don't feel like I have adjusted to motherhood the way that I should have. My son is 1 1/12 yrs old and I take care of him and I am a pretty good mom I think but I never planned on having kids and I still don't feel like I was meant to have children. I love being a mom but I used to be wild before I got married and had my son. Does anyone else feel the same way...like you can't adjust to motherhood completely?

I have very bad thoughts everytime my daughter is away from me. I worry someone will steal her, or she will run off and get hit by a car anything. She is 3 and perfect but my anxiety really bothers me. I am anxious about other things but this is overwhelming cause I can not even relax when she is with her father. Does anyone have the same feelings?

i will be 19 in a month and have not been to the gynochologist yet. i have been sexually active for the past 2 years, so i am more than overdue for my first visit. i want to go to make sure everything is okay, and also to be put on birth control for my irregular period and insatiable cramps. me and my mother don't really talk about this kind of stuff and i have no idea how to bring it up to her. she also thinks that i'm still a virgin and i don't want her to think i only want to go so i can have sex. i guess what i'm asking is how do i make the initial step to asking my mom to set up an appointment for me?

I have a friend that has two kids. Her oldest is 4 years old and her youngest is 3 years old. They are going to be starting head start this year but the youngest is not potty trained. My daughter started head start when she was 3 years old and they told me that she needed to be potty trained before she starts. Well needless to say I had her potty trained when she was about 2 1/2. What makes me mad is that my friends youngest son is not potty trained and she told me that she put them in a school that will potty train him. Do any of you think that it is because they do not know that he is not potty trained or are they starting to accept children who are not potty trained and potty training them?

else's house. I always tell him to stop but why is it that everyone always says, "No, that's OK"? Then I feel if I say no again they are going to think I am being mean or I have to sit there the whole time watching to make sure he doesn't break anything. So, why do people always have to butt in and basically say let them do whatever they want? Even tho it's there house they should respect that you want your child to behave and keep their hands to themselves.

On the pill, but missed a few. Last period was July 26, should have started August 24. Almost one week late. If I was pregnant, I would be about 4 and a half weeks. Took 2 HPT's and both were negative. Planned Parenthood told me to wait 10 days. Is it too early to detect pregnancy at this point? Is that a possible reason why the HPT's were negative? Not having any symtoms other than late period. Since I have been on the pill, I have never had a late period.

I want to 'guess' my baby's due date, but the last 12 sites either didn't have a correct date (one only went to 2001!!) or they said my conception date was in September!! My last cycle was the 9 - 16th and my estamate conception is/was the 21st. Can any one help me? I can guess sometime in late May early June, but I'd like some numbers!!

When a person say that they urinate a lot what does that mean? Do they have to urinate a lot because a person has been drinking a lot of liquid fluids like water or juice or is it because when a person is pregnant, they feel like they have to go more than once? Please explain cause I've been curious why so many pregnant women have to go to the bathroom when they had just went not too long ago.

I've heard this from my aunti and other women that i have talked with. A woman told me that she had her tubes burned and as soon as as her daughter turned 5 years old she ended up getting pregnant 5 years after her tubaligation. So this is not the first time that i have heard about this, so i am curious to know is that possible.

My son is 5 1/2 months old and has reflux so he has cereal per his dr. in his bottle, he takes 4-5 oz. formula w/2- 2/2 tbs, cereal in it, and I have started offering solids in the am and he still does not take them the greatest, he goes to bed about 8:30-10 varying night by night, wakes @6-7 takes a 6 oz bottle, and sleeps then another 1-2 hours, wakes for the day, has solids (usually fruit, does not like cereal solid so far) around 10, then bottles around 11-12 then about every 3 hours from there on out until bed.So he is having around 5 bottles a day and solids at breakfast time. I was wondering when I should add more solids, especially if I having trouble getting him to take the ones I am offering? Is he too young to cut out a bottle. Is he on track? Could he just maybe to full for solids? He also is a cat napper, and those times vary, sometimes it is 3 naps of 30-45 others 5 naps of 10? Feel lost w/ no routine,please nothing saying "he is just baby" I know, just need some support

Sometimes a couple of families have me babysit their children in the playroom while they have a book club meeting or something downstairs. I like to watch the kids, but I hate it when they realize their parents are downstairs and then they start crying over it and want to go down. I don't want to yell at them or hold them back, because they know and they'll just cry louder. How do I stop them (it's usually always boys) from doing that? Why can't they just behave and play with the other little kids, and let their parents have a smooth meeting for a change? What to do? Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
