On the pill, but missed a few. Last period was July 26, should have started August 24. Almost one week late. If I was pregnant, I would be about 4 and a half weeks. Took 2 HPT's and both were negative. Planned Parenthood told me to wait 10 days. Is it too early to detect pregnancy at this point? Is that a possible reason why the HPT's were negative? Not having any symtoms other than late period. Since I have been on the pill, I have never had a late period.

It could be possible that it's too early to tell. Most HPTs don't show the hormone until your about 10 days late. It all depends on the sensitivity in them. Wait a few more days, if you don't get your period take another test. It could also be because your hormones are outta wack because of the pill. I hope that helps.

Sometimes when you miss the pill, your schedule gets all screwed up. Thinking that you could be pregnant gets it messed up too and makes you late w/ the period. A surefire sign is breasts so sore that putting on a bra hurts. You don't sound pregnant. You would know by now.

It's possible you could be pregnant. Although, if you weren't taking birth control, you should have a positive test but being that you were taking birth control it might have effected the test results. I would wait a little, then take another test.
