No, and I am sorry, I was overjoyed to be pregnant long after my tubes were tied. I thought it was a miracle....It was really major surgery!
I know in reality, the surgery was the best answer.
I also know She was a little girl, formed on the ovary,not in the uterus.
18 years later, I wish I had a different outcome, but, no...
And no, an ectopic pregnancy looks as Normal in hormone level as a healthy pregnancy!

absolutely not. it will never determine whether the pregnancy is a uterine or ectopic, as both types of pregnancy cause the same hormones to be produced. a pregnancy test only detects the hcg hormones being present in the urine or blood (depending on which test is performed).

in the absence of symptoms, only a pelvic ultrasound can indicate whether or not it is an ectopic or not.

first of all yes cause the horamons are all the same. but you will not be able to detect a eptopic untill later with an ultrasound. but if you have a blood test done make sure that they do what is called a quantative HCG level it detects how much of the hcg is in your body. an eptopic with show much higher than were it is supposed to be for where you are in your pregnancy. also a high hcg level can also mean that you are carring multipules but you wont know any of these things untill the ultrasound is performed. so go to the doctor Good Luck

I am not sure I had an ectopic pregnancy but I did not even know I was pregnant I never had the chance to do a test. I was waking up sick and would vomit I had not missed my period yet. Then I got pain bad pain. I went to the Dr and she told me I was pregnant she did a urine test that is very much the same as the type you can buy and it did show up. Later It got worse and of course I lost the baby. So I would have to say yes it would show up

No. It can be detected through an ultrasound. I had an ectopic pregnency and it wasn't until I was 2 months pregnent that it was detected. It nearly killed me. I was bleeding and having slight pain and the doctors kept on telling me it was normal that lots of ladies bleed during their pregnency. I got so sick of being told it was normal that i demanded an ultrasound and lucky I did. My left tube was so damaged that they had to remove it. If u have any doubts DEMAND an ultrasound, it's better to be safe than sorry.
