My period is one week late. I am on the pill (missed a few, but I have before and this has never happened) and it is still late. I have taken 2 HPT's and both have come back negative. Is it too early to tell. I would be about 4 weeks 5 days if I am. Any advice? Serious responses only please.

No it is not too early to ell but let me ask you this. When you missed your pills did you take the ones that you missed as soon as you realized that you missed them even if that meant taking 2 at the same time or did you extend the length of the pill pack by how many pills you missed? I took a First Response pregnancy test after being a week late and it came back positive...I am now going into my 38th week. It may depend on the test! See a doctor and have a blood test done it is most accurate in early pregnancy...or go to the er and have them do so...then you can find out tonight!

It can take weeks for a pregnancy test to show up positive, I was about 5 or 6 weeks before it gave a positive result.

to me i dnt think its too early to tell u can tell ur pregnant when i found out i was pregnant i was 2 months 8 weeks and one day but i think 4 weeks(1 month) is noticeable and if u took a test u could tell but ,i would take 1 test then if its negative taje another one in a couple weeks
