Yes, you should always get checked to make sure that there wasn't some tissue left behind n your uterus, and just to generally check yourself out and make sure that you're OK.

A miscarriage can be very hard on the body, so why NOT see a doc just to make sure that you're OK?

If you are having a miscarriage or even think you are you need to go to the ER right NOW. If your body doesn't expel everything properly whats left in there can cause an infection which can kill you. Sometimes the placenta doesn't completely detach from the uterus and a doctor will have to do a DnC on you. That is just where he goes in and clean you out. He will remove what ever did not come out on its own. Also even if everything does come out like it supposed to you still need to be checked my a doctor. There are some medicines they might give you to help with the bleeding. PLEASE go tell your mom right now and ask her to take you to the ER.

Most women who have an early miscarriage do not need treatment. The uterus empties itself like a heavy period. However, a doctor may recommend a D&C in certain cases, such as if a woman is bleeding heavily or may have an infection, or if an ultrasound examination shows that there is tissue remaining in the uterus (which can lead to heavy bleeding).
you should cheek to see if you need a curette (D&C) done.

I am sorry to hear about this

you really need to go to the doctor to make sure that everything cleared out of you, sometimes there is stuff left behind and the doctor MUST remove it or you can get a serious infection.

Sweetheart, you need to go right now to the emergency room. If you are uncomfortable telling your parents, is there another adult that you can talk to and have that person go with you? Your life could be in danger if you miscarry and don't get all the material removed. Please go immediately.

Yes go in to your doctor. If you are miscarrying, you need medical attention to make sure you don't hemmorhage and that all of the baby is removed. If not all of it is removed, you could get an infection. Please go to your doctor, actually I'd advise going to the ER right now. Please be careful and I'll pray for you.
