I recently miscarried at 16 weeks. It was very traumatic. My OB told me that I should expect a period within 4 weeks. Well, it has been 5 weeks. Could I be pregnant again? How fertile are you after you give birth/miscarry? Thanks!

I am pregnant. I live with the father of my baby. I want to keep the baby, but the father does not he wants me to give it up for adoption. He is 24 years old. I love Him alot. Please give me some advice!

Ladies... (and guys too, I guess!) My Husband and I have been TTC since February. Well, I went off the pill in February, after being on BC for 13 years. We still arent pregnant yet. I recently had a pap and the doctor said everything was great with me. I just cant understand why we arent getting pregnant? The doctor said to try 10 days after my period starts, that was the most fertile time for a woman, ok did that, now everytime I "start" I cry for about a day. I keep wondering, why cant I get pregnant? I have heard, just stop trying and it will happen! Well, thats easier said then done.. Any tips?

Ok...I am having my son in 6 weeks and have picked out the name Tommy. I chose it b/c I Love the Rugrats!! I named my 3 year old Dylan so I could call him Dill Pickles, and want his brother to be named Tommy so I can call them the Pickle Brothers. I know this is kinda immature, but I have always wanted it like that. Also, Tommy's middle name is going to be Lee after his father, but my mother is having a fit!!!!! She doesn't like Tommy Lee.... so she doesn't want me to name my son that. Give me some input on this name and let me know what you think. Should I forget my Rugrat obsession and think of a different name, or go with what I want and stay with Tommy?

My son had his first day of kindergarten today. He is a social butterfly and is extremely intelligent. I have no doubt that he will excel academically but he is quite the talker and I'm afraid he will not stay on task and listen to his teacher. He received a mark on one of his papers sent home that said, 'try to follow along as we work, ok'". He was also sent home in clean shorts because he had an accident. Do you think this is just because of the stress on him due to his first day? Do you think I should give him a few days before approaching him about it and see what happens? What should I say to him? Parents and teachers please encouraged to answer.

his nana and papa spoil him way to much if he cries he gets it when he comes here or home he thinks that he should be king of the house and whatever he wants he should get even if i tell him no his dad says he is too young to know that crying gets him is way. how can i stop that and how can i tell his nana and papa to stop that becaue it is becoming a problem

Her last poop was at 6am this morning, it is now 5:23 and about 30 minutes ago she pooped a little bit, it looked harder than her regular poops. I think it may be cause I just switched her from breastmilk to formula. She is 10 days old. Is it okay to give her juice? If so, should i dilute it with water? I heard juice is okay for babies, but shes really young, and im not sure what age they mean when they say "babies".

Is it me but do some parents take this rule a little too much to heart? The other day outside the Publix while a mother was loading her groceries into her breeder mobile...cough....minivan.... the lady's kid asked a cop sitting in his car next to her van how old his K-9 in the backseat was. Well.....I thought for a second that lady saw the devil, man did she go off on that kid for speaking to a stranger in this case a cop. I don't know about you guys but seriously a cop!!!! I don't see the harm in talking to a cop as a small child. In the long run I think people who teach their kids not to talk to strangers are setting up their kids to spend their adult lives being afraid of people and becoming anti-social. Stop teaching your children to view everybody as wrong/right, black/white and teach your kids some god damn judgement and critical thinking skills. Very few strangers are out to get your kids. The news media unfortunately brain washes you to think other.

I am 38 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I have not lost my mucous plug and the baby has not even dropped, have not even dialated or effaced this is my first pregnancy. When does this usually start to happen? And what can I do to help the process along? The baby is estimated to already weight 8 lbs and 5ozs. Help Please???????

my son hit his head wen he was trying to crawl. he hit hard and cried. now there is bump on his forehead.. i took him to accident and emergency.doctor checked him and sent us home. now i am watching him if anything goes wrong. any advice. i am very scared now panicking something going to happen to him.he is sleeping now.. how serious head injuries can be in babies??for how many days i should watch him now??
