I had my tubes tied 24 hours after the baby was born, hospital policy. I had an epidural during delivery & was asked if it was ok to leave it in for the surgery. I elected to keep the tube in just because it was easier. The meds were delivered via that tube without any problems. You will get more meds when you have the surgery of course but not another needle in the back.

No. You can have an epidural for the delivery, but for the tubal, you will be put to sleep. And it will not be during the delivery. Probably the next day.

Nope. One epidural will do the trick unless there are complications.

Doubt-full,, you'll still be "comforted" by the first one.
