I took both of my kids of formula at 10-11 months. They were eating alot of big people food so I figured they were getting nutrients else where. Not long ago people took their kids off of formula at 6 months. They change the guidelines all the time. It's really up to you.

they say right after they turn a year to be safe becuz I guess it causes very minute bleeding in the stomach, but my mom and all her friends started us on milk way earlier. It's only one month, I really don't think it's going to hurt anything. I was forced to start giving my son milk at 10 months and he's been fine so far. No increased gas or nothing.

I started giving my daughter 2% milk at 10 months. As long as she's getting the regular nutrition she needs (meats, fruits and veggies) then it's safe to put her on milk. My doctor suggested 2% milk for at least a few months. Her stomach may not be able to handle whole milk just yet.

I have had four children and all of them was on whole milk,at 10months . All are grown and 3 have their own babies . and they are doing the same as i did. All are very healthy. The four son is college very smart and healthy. so, I know it will not hurt yours little one unless .She is allergy to milk .then she would be on a soy milk formula.

She needs to be at least a year old before giving her whole milk or it can make her tummy hurt.

I did. I went from nursing her to whole milk. The dr. will tell you to feed her whole milk versus 2%, etc.
