I can honestly say the very thought of it makes me cringe - I am thinking fo going to Portland Hospital for a elected caeserian instead - BUT - that tiny tiny voice in my head says, it might not be THAT bad. Everyone has different pain thresholds, I know that, but what is the general consensus?

At what age should i talk to my son about the birds and the bees? He is 8 years old but he's very advanced, smarter than some 12 and 13 year olds. I think he already has some ideas about sex, kids these days know alot more than they should. He has "walked" in on me and my fiance already and I'm sure he knows what was going on. He never mentioned it to me. I just want to know if I should discuss it with him or should I wait til they start the sex education in school???

Hi! Do you know when EXACTLY do you begin to feel IF YOU GOT PREGNANT the first symptoms? I mean, let`s say, you had sex on August 10, for example, when you were ovulating. Maybe you are pregnant, but I am wondering: how many days or weeks have to pass in order for your body to begin feeling smth, i.e. weakness, dizzy, etc.?????? Do you feel them BEFORE your period begins? Or you have to wait for one month for having some changes in your body? Thanks

I am due September 19,2006 but scheduled for a C-Section September 8 2006! I have been getting sick to my stomach and sometymes I have pain when it does happen I feel I cnat breathe or it pains like mesntrual cramps. I get like some pain thru my back. What could this be? alright i have a son with this guy. we were together for 2 years and i was a victim of abuse mentally and physically. it was terrible. im now living and in a commited relationship with my boyfriend. but i start thinking about my babys daddy every once in awhlie and start missing him. wondering why we and our son just cant be a family. then sometimes he'll tell me he misses me. i dont know what to do. but my boyfriend is so much better to my son than my babys dad is. but i cant get him out of my head? am i the only one. or is this normal? and what do you think i should do?

24 weeks pregnant...I love feeling the baby kick, because I know that he's still alive and healthy in there. But, sometimes, i'll go as long as half a day without feeling anything...and it worries me...my obgyn is hard to get ahold of or i'd ask him.

I have just taken a test and its come out negative. I took a First Response one 14 days after sex and then a ClearBlue Test today (4 1/2 weeks after) - both neg. I am on the pill and take 3 packs then a break. I had sex on the 18th pill of first pack and i am not due my period for another 15 days when i have my break. I had been getting numerous symptoms so im disappointed :-( If its not pregnancy god knows what it is!

I am considering trying to start having a baby soon. I want Children soon and so does my husband. I am getting close to 30yrs old and been married 7yrs. The thing is I just got a new job 6 months ago and I really love it. I want to continue climbing the corporate ladder for some years. I don't think I'm cut out to stay at home for a while. I'll go crazy. My mom lives a bit far but could take care of a baby while I work.
Anyway, how long does it typically take to go back to work after having a baby? How does your life change? Special considerations before making this decision? How soon should I tell my employer?
