well i took a home pregenacy test and it went fast the complete line showes really dark but the secound one is really light so what do u think is it too early or what?

My boyfriend and I are going to have kids later on in life. The only problem is that I am a little optimistic becuase his family has a lot of boys. My family have girls. I seem to always be 1-4 days late every month, but then sometimes I am exactly on time. Does this mean I cannot figure out my exact ovulation time since I seem to be slightly irregular. Or it doesn't matter and that my ovulation will just be later than it would have been if I had been on time. Basically is it all relative and I just shouldn't worry?

Two weeks ago, I went into the ER cause I started bleeding and cramping. I had just found out I was pregnant 3 days before (I was less than 4 weeks pregnant). They drew my blood and my HCG came back at just under 4. They said I miscarried which I believe. But, they never checked my levels again to make sure that they went down and were not going up. They just assumed I lost the baby due to my levels. I have been having all my pregnancy sypmtoms now and I was wondering if you would take a HPT to see if there was a chance they were wrong? They wont draw my blood again, I already called to see. Or do you think I should just trust what they said. He also said that my cervix was "closed". All answers are welcome. Thank you

I am 36.5 weeks pregnant. I am going to be taken early because my baby is big due to gestional diabetes. I just dont know how early. I will be full term thursday, and I saw the dr today. When I had my exam, it really hurt. I think he tried to strip my membranes, but I am not sure. When he examined me, it was painful on the right side and then he moved to the left and it didnt hurt like it did the first. When I was preg with my first, I think he did the same thing, and sent me to L&D right after he examined me to be induced. He wants to see me friday, hopefully for induction. But I feel crampy now. I am not dialated but I am really soft and thinning out. Anyone have membranes stripped? And if so, what did it feel like and how long did it take to go into labor after words. And were you dialated when they were stripped?

i'm 13 and i'm going to be in 8th grade, all my friends and clasemates developed there chest and i'm flat, flat!!! i'm not that flat, i have a little but it's not normal. i've already got my period and everything but all my friends are a size A,B or C. what can i do? is it time to vist the doctor or what? please. i thought that maybe this summer i would developed but i was wrong. please.

My son who is not quite 6 months, has been having weird episodes that I thought were nightmares, but somebody said that wasn't possible. He'll be sound asleep & make a screaching sound, then start crying & pushing his arms forward (like he was trying to move or block something), but he's not awake. If I pick him up while he's doing it he'll sorta cringe until I rock him & tell him it's ok. He sometimes says mama (I don't think he knows the meaning of that yet though, he just started to do it when he gets upset).
I remember waking up when I was like 3 & 4 because of awful nightmares (obviously they were bad enough that I remember doing it). My mom said when I was about 9 months I started doing the same thing he is, until I was around 7 years old...Could it be nightmares? What can I do for him?
He by NO means has a traumatic life, or has ever seen anything traumatic. We hardly raise our voices in front of him & don't really get mad very often, so I dunno what could have triggered it.

My girl and I found out a few weeks ago that she is pregnant. I am 24 and she is 21. She is scared to death of telling her family and them all disowning her or kicking her out. To be honest with you, they are very ignorant people. Her mom always gives her crap about everything and her dad considers her to be the baby of the family since she has an older sister that is 22. We already know that her sister is gonna be retarded about the whole thing. On top of everything, her family hates me with a passion already! We're both worried about what to do. We just wanna tell them and get it over with. Her dad is the "Over protective Italian dad type from Brooklyn". Im kinda a bit scared for my life. The biggest thing that upsets her besides possible losing her family is breaking her dad's heart...How can we tell them?

I know all children are different and everything will happen when they are ready...but I still think sometimes that my son is "behind". I'm not panicking or stressed out about it, it just crosses my mind sometimes. Does anyone else feel like this?

My son is 12 1/2 months old and says "DaDa", "MaMa", and "YumYum". He can walk holding onto the furniture and your fingers. He can stand by himself, but not walk on his own.
