Has anyone been pregnant and wanted the baby to be different from children you both have from previous marriages? I don't want my child to look like my stepchild I want her to have her own features and a different haircolor.I think its because i don't like my stepdaughter very much.

Yes! I have 2 step children and I now have 2 kids by their dad and yes I felt that way to, don't feel bad about it, you want your kid to be different and I don't like it now when anyone compares likenesses about my kids and step kids! Its not that I don't like my step kids, its just I want my kids to be different from them.

You should love your child no matter what even if they are your step children or your biological children! I should know I am a stepchild to someone and my real dad loved my brother more than me! I almost killed myself because of it.The only thing that kept me alive was the love of my mother and step dad.If you hate your step child then you are a terrible person and shouldn't have any kids!Because what if you get so angry with her you start to abuse her or even kill her.I know it sounds crewl but thats what happens when a parent doesnt love thier children the way they should.You should be ashamed of yourself!

HA HA! You know when I was pregnant with my oldest, I didn't want her to have her fathers nose. I think I focused on it so much, guess what? SHE HAS IT! If I were you that would be the last thing I would worry about right now really. There are too many diseases and stuff out there you don't want you baby to be born with.

You're pretty d@amn selfish! Why not just love the child regardless of its looks? What are you going to do if, Gods forbid, your baby is handicapped in some way? Are you just going to leave it by the side of the road or something?

Maybe you should figure out how to work on your issues with your step daughter since she is part of your family now. Your step daughter should be an important part of your hubby's life. If you love HIM, then you owe it to him to work on having a good relationship with his daughter.
Your child will look like a mix of you and your hubby, so if there is any resemblence to your step child it will also be a resemblence to your hubby.

No. I am proud that my daughter has facial features and even personalities of all of her half- brothers and half-sister! But she is still very unique in her own very special way! She has her own personality, character and look about her. But you can still see her brothers and sister in some of the things she says or does.
And Everyone loves her ... even strangers!

Well you cant pick what your child is going to look like but how about instead of being worried that you child might look like your step daughter how about worrying that your chil is going to be healthy and happy. You need to grow up.

I think your baby is going to look like his/or her own self with
features that may or may not be similiar too your step daughter.
Your baby will also have you in him/her. You will love the baby because its yours regardless of what it looks like,hopefully.

1st if all how can u hate ur stepdaughter she part of ur family now 2nd if ur stepdaughter looks more like her mother then ur child wont really look like ur child
