Well i am sure that she would LOVE the high school musical cd. I don't think she will like kids bop that much though. Kids bop has good songs on it, but it is kids singing it, and none of the people that i know like it. It kind of ruins the songs for you.
What about Carrie Underwood? She is great! I love listening to her and so does my 6 year old niece. Her music is very clean, and easy to sing along with.
The Cheetah Girls and thats so raven are great! I am sure that she will really like those. Disney comes out with a soundtrack for almost every show and movie, just look for those. She will like them.

There are so so many!!!
My 9 year old sister just got 2 new albums: Ultimate Disney Princess and Driving With Disney - but seriously, there must be like over 50 Disney albums by now so you've got a lot of choice!!!

Get her the NOW (that's what I call music) cds. Basically they're just the pop hits from the radio. (edited of course) My daughter loves them! If you go to Best Buy or Circuit City you'll see the latest ones. Also get the Proud Family cd and other's like it.

My daughter is 6. She will be 7 in Dec. I got her a radio last year for Christmas and she loves it. I got her kids c.d.s such as a Care Bear c.d. and a Lazytown c.d. But she really likes mainstream music. Try finding some c.d.s that down have vulgar language or bad lyrics.

I don't think I can be much help. My daughter will be 9 very soon and she's not into that kind of music. Never has been actually. She loves country and oldies. I can get her ANYTHING in those categories and she loves it. Kids tunes just don't cut it for her and as long as it's not rap or something like that, I don't particularly care.

Good luck!!
