What are some good questions to ask at your first pregnancy appointment? This is my first time and I am kind of nervouse.

Ovulation ocurred on the 15th....... expected period is suppose to happen on the 30th or 31st of August. Is it too early to take a pg test?

My daughter is 27 months old and is starting to take tatrums so bad that she vomits and slams her butt down on the ground, she will stand up and slam back down again over and over. What do I do to control this

People are nowdays choosing to have their first children considerably later than one or two decades ago. The reasons may vary from financial issues to the lack of desire of having kids early. For those who know that they will eventually create families time becomes a pressing issue. So when then is the best age for people to have their first children?

I have a almost 6 week old baby. When she was a week old I hemoraged and had to go back the hospital. While I was there she had to be formula fed. Now I breastfeed her and formula feed her. I was put on a high dose of iron due to the blood loss that I had but found that she wasn't haing a bowel movements but was trying very hard. I stopped taking my iron and have also switched her to a no iron formula. She still isn't regular. She will go 4-5 das without going. I was told that mixing some prune juice with water would help. I have been doing that, about an ounce of juice with ounce and a half or so of water but it seems to give her diarhea every couple of days. Does anyone have any suggestions? She is being fed alot more fomula now as my milk supply is not keeping up with her eating demands due to my blood loss.

I have an 18 month old son and a 7 month old son and I am wanting to have another child. I would like my children to be close in age but is this too close? Does any one have three children close and how is raising them?

AFP test came back positive for Down's syndrome. I know they are not very accurate. My question is...How accurate is the Level 2 ultrasound?

PS-I know the only 100% way to know for sure is the amnio.

I had a miscarriage immediatly after I found out I was pregnant which was 16 days ago. i am still not ovulating. It was so early in the pregnancy that my doc said it'd be fine to try again becuase had we not already been trying, we never would have known I was pregnant, it would have passed as a period. But, I'm not ovulating. If you had this happen, when did you ovulate?

My littel brother (he's 6) plays with our neighbor's kids, they are 6 and 4. The older one can be a REAL BRAT! his little sister is a total sweetheart and is an angel,....she's not the problem, he is. This guy will talk back and say no if you ask him to do something. he totally dominates my littel brother and never listens, NEVER. he climbs on things he shouldn't and shows my brother dangerous things (like jumping off of sheds, climbing trees,etc.) I don't want to be too hard on this kid cause he can be nice and im not his parent but what can i do, his parents are really nice people and it seems that they can control him when he's around them. please help cause im afraid that i will blow out on this kid REALLY soon....

I am currently 27 1/2 weeks pregnant with my second child, a girl this time, to be named Emma. I have a four year old son from a previous relationship (dad has nothing to do with him and doesn't pay the child support.) , and a wonderful fiance who tries so hard to take care of both of us. I have been out of work for the last four weeks which has put an obvious strain on all of our resources. We can't at this point even afford to put food on the table. My car broke down today. Everything is crashing down at once, and I don't know how much more I can take. I've been through bad times before, but never this bad. I can't even get the County to call me back to try to get some support through them, and unless you're already recieving food stamps or some other such thing, you can't even go to the local food bank. I have no fight left in me and my faith is dwindling. Does God listen to our prayers? Will it ever get better? When is it okay to just through up your arms and just say, I give up?

My son occasionally wets the bed at nite and i have him wear a diaper to bed. I know with age he will out grow it but is it alright to have him wear a diaper until then? I dont want him to feel strange about it.

I plan on breastfeeding while I work. We have bought a breast pump already and many bottles. I was wondering if you have to be very careful when sealing breast milk that goes in the freezer. 1. Do you have to make sure to get all the air out? It doesn't mention that on any of the sites that I've gone to about disposable liners. I hear that Gerber has liners that have a ziploc so milk can be easily stored. 2. Will Gerber liners fit Playtex and Avent bottles?
Also... 3. How are you supposed to warm breastmilk? Are you just supposed to leave it running under warm water until it's the right temperature? Can you dip the bag in boiling water once it's thawed to heat it?
I'm so confused about how to store and heat breastmilk.

Also... if I start to pump milk now.. at 36 weeks.. will my breasts begin to leak constantly? Could that cause premature labor? I woud like to get it going now so I always know we have lots to feed the baby with. I REALLLY dont want to have to pump at work.

She comes from a large family and I know she wants to have a child(s). Both of us are 30yrs old. Honestly, I can't escape the horrors of my own childhood and can't see how I could be an effective father. I don't even enjoy sex with my wife anymore because of the fear of having children. It would break her heart, but what am I to do?

Both questions are pretty much unrelated to each other:

1) I have discovered that my daughter LOVES bacon. Hooray!! But is it too salty for 9 month old babies?

2) Her milk teeth are just beginning to come through - they are not fully grown yet, they are still coming up. SHould I be brushing them - if so how often?

I will eventually put these queries to my health visitor later this week, but first i just wanna get some feedback from other mummies!

I'm 8 weeks along and i've still been feeling slight cramping in my lower abdomen...not severe just twinges. I've heard that one of the signs of an tubal pregnancy was cramping, which makes me kind of nervous. Does anyone know about tubal pregnancy's, what the chances are and around what time they occur? Would there be any other reason why i'm having light cramps every now and then?

This would be our first so I'm not even sure IF I will get pregnant the first try. I'm very healthy and have regular cycles, but I don't want to endanger our baby if I do get pregant. They will be putting me under and I'll probably need pain killers for the next couple of days.
