Generally it is up to the parents to decide who should take take full timecare and who should take part time care and they an always swap this around later if it is needed...

I cared for my kids until early teens and at the time they decided they wanted to spend more time with Dad.... I was fine with that and allowed it to be their choice and their dad was happy to care for them.... it worked well...

Now I can pursue what I want..

Who says it's OK? Parenting is a 24/7 job by both parents.

It's not OK for dad's to be there just on the weekend or at their convenience, but you can't force someone to parent their children.

Because mothers are THE better parent and without them children will grow up crazy. That's my opinion, but really it's because society won't let it change and guys are the workers and girls are the full-time parents.

Because mothers feel the pinch when the children get hurt.
Some Fathers don't really.(In my point of view)
