My son is 15, and just starting to "go out", bowling, to the movies, bonfires, etc. He is hanging out with girls more, and I am constantly questioning every move he makes. Am I being over protective? He hasn't done anything horrible, but I am so afraid of him screwing up his future..Should I be more trusting or continue being "that kind of mom?" Please help!

I have been off birth control for a little while now- and my period has usually been between 28- and 30 days apart from each other....well I was suppose to start on Wednesday so that makes me 6 days late- I really don't think i'm pregnant- because- to make a long story short, we have a daughter who is 18 months old, and is a handful- and I am pretty sure my husband and I only did it once this month (yes- sad I know)......We only did it 7 days after my cycle last month- and i can't for the life of me remember if we used a condom or *other method*.....SO it would be a miracle if I was pregnant.....Is there any tricks to make you start???? I have been under stress lately- so I'm sure that is probably what it is.....

I should have been ovulating June 8-13. We were not sexually active then, only on the 3rd, 17th, and 19th. When was it most likely that I conceived, and do you know of any websites that talk about this?

Anywhere from 1 out of 5 pregnancy end in miscarriages and some women don't even realize they were pregnant in the first place, Do you think that this seems odd? Why do you think this number is so high in perfectly healthy people? Could it be birth control related? or other medical related?

I just started birth control pills in early july say around the first sunday, and I missed quite a few but made up for them like the directions say so, and me and my husband had unprotected sex almost every other day. Now it's time for my period, I'm on the 3rd green pill and my period still hasn't come on what should I do? Could I be pregnant?

I went to the ER last night with contractions 2-3 minutes apart. For 3 hours. I was then sent home dialation stayed the same and contractions subsided some. I came home tried to rest. Was woken up 2-3x every hour with contractions. I am 38 weeks 4 days along. Could this be the early labor???

I just threw a party for my son, who turned 5 years old. I invited a lot of kids, whose parents were enthusiastic about coming. I had to order the supplies well in advance of the party to ensure they got here on time. They came from the US and I live in Canada. Anyway, less than half showed up. I was unable to get a confirmation from some of these parents after the RSVP date. I was unable to reach them. Of the parents who called me back to confirm, a couple of them didn't show up. In the future I am limiting the party to 5 children. It was a lot of work, money spent and headaches. I have a lot of left over activities based on a dinosaur theme,including dinosaur bingo, and dinosaur painting activities (which we didn't get a chance to do because the other games went overtime, and it was too hot). I plan to give the dinosaur painting activities out to the children who actually came, as part of their loot bags. After that I still have a lot left. Any ideas?

i just got a new job working for a very hard (though very generous with pay raises) boss yesterday and then found out i was pregnant today. Its a small office with just the doctor and 3 employees including myself so i know in the long run, he will not be able to have that position empty when it comes time for maternity leave and i am afraid once its known i am pregnant they will see me as "temporary" and invest less in me than they would if I wasn;t. He even told me in the interview ( before i found out) that he has lost a lot of girls to pregnancy. I feel really bad about the timing but one of the best things about this job is the advancedment oppertunity ( my friend started less than a year ago at $5.50 and now makes $9.50 and he hates her cuz he says she is too "bubbly") I am just afraid that i will miss out on that now because he thinks he will lose me too (and honestly after the baby is born he might since we will have no sitter and don't trust/ know very well anyone in this town.

hey im 13 and i am on my period but it is different then all the others that i have had

i hav been feelin really upset and sad for a while now, that most days i end up cryin myself 2 sleep everyday. my parents r always fightin ova stuff, they throw things round. i lock myself in my room everyday afta skool as i dont wanna go out. the only comfort i ever get is listenin to music and being with my boyfriend. i dont talk to my parents bout anythin that is happenin in my life, neva hav as i am scared, think they dont care or wanna hear it etc. they always used to tell me off 4 gettin bad skool marks as if i had purposely done bad, that i hated showin them my results. i hav now worked myself into such a state that i am thinkin more and more about death. wat is it like? wen will it happen? just out of the blue i started thinkin bout these things and now i am scaring myself. i dont want to talk to any1 as i feel there is no1 2 talk to. has any1 else gone through this? wat should i do? is this all normal? im am totally petrified of wat i am gonna mayb do 2 myself. i am so scared

Her ped says it could be this and that and to wait if it gets bigger. I'm still concerned though.
I can move this little thing around. Size didn't change so far. No signs of infection and she's feeling great.
Btw, this has been going on for 2 months now.

I have had very soft bowel movements since I found out I was pregnant. Milk and bananas have always helped me in the past to regulate this problem. However, not anymore! I can eat a bunch of bananas and still have this problem! Any suggestions? I would love to live outside of the bathroom!!!!!!

Have any of you ever conceived with irregular periods? Yes I have been to a doctor, he put me on metformin, and in 4 more months if I dont conceive I will be put on clomid. I just wanted to hear your opinions, advice and stories. I tried for 6 months of the charting but that didnt work because of the irregular periods, my temps were weird and i didnt ovulate one month. please help me, oh and I am happiliy married.
