I hate to ask this, because I know I'm going to get a lot of people over reacting to this question. I was over a week overdue with my first pregnancy and I would not like to be that overdue again. I'm not looking to go into labor now, but I would like to know some natural labor inducers just in case. No castor oil please.

even at home, he has to be right by my side (serious separation anxiety). He whines if I even leave the room. He just started this about 2 weeks ago, and although I love him to death, it is driving me crazy. I can't get anything done. Nobody else can hold him, or he cries for me Even my husband (his dad). He used to go to everyone. The Dr. said this will pass, but is there something I can do?????

I will go get one when I get off work but these are some things that have been happening are they signs of being pregnant. I can't sleep on my tummy it hurts to bad, when I lie on my back I get shooting pains, I run outta breath very often now, I sleep all the time, I constantly need tums to cure my heartburn, any my tummy muscles went from "jiggily" to tight in a short amount of time and I don't exersize so thats strange but if I am pregnant I am not more than a month and a half along are all thes things symptoms that can happen this early??

I'm starting to wonder if I offered too much for the day. I'm going to be paying this neighbor of mine, a stay at home mom, $50 tomorrow. She'll have the kids from about 5:50am til about 3. She's going to watch the kids at my house. She can eat here. My kids are 6 and 9. What would you pay her for the day? I'm starting to wonder if $50 is too much.

My best friend's cousin got his gf pregnant at age 14.
They went to an abortion clinic and secretly got one done.
But something went wrong and his gf died :(

I am 7 weeks pregnant now and tomorrow will be my first appt with the OB Nurse. I called the receptionist today to ask about what they take the urine and blood tests for. Receptionist checked with one nurse and told me that the urine is done for any bladder infections, and the blood tests are done for anemia, sugars, see how much iron we have,basically tells them what tests they will have to administer of mine in this pregnancy.
I asked if they determine pregnancy, then receptionist said that they already know I am pregnant and don't take the urine and blood to determine that. I did ask the receptionist to make sure I can take a urine test that proves to them I am pregnant, she said yes she can give me a strip tester and I can pee on it. Is that all that you ladies remember from that first nurse checkup?

i have noticed in the past few days in my panties clear snot like stuff, lots of it. i am already dilated 2.5 and 50% effaced as of this past friday. i just wish my water would break or contractions would start. with my first son my water broke and then my contractions started a few mins after and i was only in labor 5 hours, had him naturally. any chance this pregnancy would be faster?

My Ex has been out of the pic for about 2 years and all of a sudden pops up and demands to see our kid. I'm due around August 29th and I was thinking of having friends and family over for a little get-together so everyone could meet the baby. Since this is my first baby, I'm not sure how soon I will be ready to entertain after she's born. How much time should I give myself before I have everyone over? I don't really want to 'play it by ear' because I'm a huge 'planner.' Any ideas on what a good time frame would be?

In Indiana when a teenager drops out of school they get their drivers licenses taken away. I love the idea of that. It'll keep these teenagers from dropping out of school. I think it should be a national thing instead of just in Indiana. How about you?

I'm a single father of a 5 year old and I find it difficult to set up a 'play group' for my son for his peers because I, mostly, am contacting single mother who assume I'm trying to 'hit on them' by using my kid! So, to avoid this, I thought why couldn't some single fathers and their kids get together in a park/playground/fun center so that the kids can play and interact with each other. Would this seem too weird for men to do? Why?
