You need to wait at least 6 weeks before having sex, but should wait at least 6 months so your body can fully heal before having another pregnancy.

I know of some people who have went back to their 6 week checkup and were pregnant again. That would be rough though lol. I would wait at least a year or so..try to enjoy the baby and at least that first year. There is so much that happens during the first year. Give your body a chance to rest and be normal again before you try again. If you believe you can handle two babies close together and don't mind the stress on your body then go for it. I've known people to get pregnant as soon as 2 months after their baby was born!

Iv'e heard of women having a baby and then exactly 9 months later having another. Its wild. Your suposed to wait 6 weeks after you have a baby to have sex but some people don't and they end up pregnant again right away!

as soon as you start having sex again. If you breastfeed after having a baby, your regulary cycle may not come back right away, but you can still get pregnant during that time, so be careful.

like right after you have it. i had a child and not even a week later i was having intercourse. i got pregnant and lost it. i had to go have a dnc that is where they suck the baby out because my body was not able to be conceived yet. so dint have sex for at least 6 mos after and yet even then you can still get pregnant.

The first time you have unprotected sex. I have heard that it is easiest to get pregnant for about 8 weeks after delivery.

Some CAN get preggie immeditaly, i know a girl who was preggie two weeks after. When SHOULD you get preggie, not for at least 6m. Although it is safe for you to have sex 6 wks after, your body and uterus will not be completely healed, and you back to 100% normal till 6months.
