Pregnancy & Parenting - 1 August 2006

My son is 10 months old. I'm trying to figure out if he is ready to get rid of his morning nap. He goes to bed at 8, wakes up at 9. I used to put him down for his nap at 10 when he was waking up at 8 and it worked out great. Now he is sleeping in, so I don't lay him down until 1. Here is the kicker...when he gets a morning nap he will sleep for 2 hours. When I wait until 1, it's only for an hour.
It doesn't make much sense. Does your baby do this or something totally different? What is your nap schedule like?

i guess i've heard of women who aren't breastfeeding to lactate, but she said that she never stops.
she says that her body is "always ready for babies".

it's not that i doubt what she says, i just find it interesting....
anyone ever hear of this or experienced this??
is it common or rare??

My 5 yr old is not circumsized and when he goes to the bath room the head of his penis blows up like a balloon, is this normal? Also when he was born his doctor had told me that when he turned 5 the skin would start to pull back but this doesn't happen either. I'm not as worried about the skin pulling back because that might happen when he starts to hit puberty but I don't know if it's effecting him when he goes pee. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Is this normal?

Is it harder to breastfeed when your a 44DDD as opposed to a 34C? Do women produce more milk with larger boobs and does it matter if the breasts are real or fake? Are there any health risks for the baby or the mother?

PLEASE no ignorant, wisecracking answers, I am a single mom of 4 and really need advice on how to deal with my daughter. How early an age can a girl be when she atarts her period? Some people say that it is not medically impossible for a girl to start as young as 8 and a half which is how old she is. Any wise advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!! last regular period was june 18 thats when it started
next period was july 17 and ended july 25 which is normal also
but 2days later i had spotting july 28 and have not stopped bleeding
since. red blood! i took a preg test on sunday it came out postive so i went and bought another one and that came out positive so
i made and appt to see the doctor on friday morning but i am still
bleeding like i am having a period. im going to take a preg test on friday. i dont know what is going on,has anyone been in this situation?

understand what you're talking about? Even if you are on the same page as they are they still try to insult you and nail you to a cross. What's the deal with that? If you are more moral or holy shouldn't you try to live your life as an example and seek first to understand and then to be understood? I think when they try to insult me it makes them look like hypocrites and imbeciles.. what do other people think? and have you had this done to you?

ijust had an abortion back in april ,of this year and i have kids already which are and 12 and 5, i do somewhat want to keep this baby because i feel like it was meant for me to have the baby, but there is this other feeling that makes me confused on what to do because i am moving on my own the first of september, and i want to be able to provide for my kids the same as i am now, but with another little one, i am not certain that i will be able to provide for my children at all as well as take care of bills in my new home, i know this is a very personal question, but i really need some input or opinions from others to ease my mind a little, please only tell me exactly what you feel, no matter what i understand that i am the only one to make this decision.

i am 18 and had a miscarriage may 18 i was 5 months. i still talk to my ex. bf sometimes but makes me more bitter we were not talking when it happened and dont really talk about what happened it makes me mad and unhappy i still am in love with him. i am dating a new guy and its not helping i just realized i am dating him because he reminds me of my ex. bf. i met my ex. new gf and creepy she a lot like me even in looks but most of all in personality this bothers me. and most recently i have the yearning to get pregnant again even though i will be starting college this september worse my ex.bf and i are attending same school and have at least one class together.i look at my ultra sound pics i have and cry and i cant babysit my 8 month old baby cousin anymore cause it hurts. the more i pretend i dont hurt the more i hurt inside. i try to pretend with my ex. bf that i dont care but i do! trying for as many opions as possible. my therapist said to talk to him my ex.before school starts?

I've come across a discipline/reward system that I really would like to try. I can purchase it for twenty dollars on a web sight but can not afford it right now. How can I best set up my own reward/discipline ladder for my children? I seem to get overwhelm and distracted when trying on my own.
