He needs to grow up and learn to make decisions for himself, but he's a long way from being an adult. Trust is earned, not given. Set limits and rules that the both of you can live with and have consequences if they are broken. Keep communication open and honest so that he is willing to talk to you if he encounters difficult situations.

I think that you should give him his space to grow. He is growing up now. You should be protective but not that protective. You should only be a little more protective if you have a reason to be. As in if you smell smoke on his clothes everyday or if you know he has a girl and the girl is trying to use him for something. Let the boy grow
---good luck---

Hey I am 15 I would be able to start dating when i'm 17 or 18, in my opinion he is to young doing that kind of stuff he should wait till he is 17 or 18. You need to go a little harder on him about this type of situation.

Bowling , movies, are fine. Bonfire? Better check that one out. Good opportunity to sneak away and drink.

first thing....trust him. and let him kno that ya do.
be free, and discuss his frnz with him.
when he comnes back frm one of his trips, bonfires especially, discuss his trip, so that ya kno what actually is going on there. now it depends on whether ur son is the person who lies ocassionally and gets away with it, or ya can make out when he lies to ya.
ya shud ask ur husband to b a little touh with him, and u shud b frndly, and let him kno that he can trust ya and come to ya with any prob.
be a firm frnd. and a good advisor.
counsel him bout sexdrugs, and the importance of keepin relations.
remember, dont b overprotective. that will only probably drive him to do just what ya dont want him to.

Hanging out with girls is perfectly fine. If you tell him no dont do that, you might send him the wrong message. 15 is a great age to talk to him about safe sex, and respect for women.

He's doing some new things. Maybe you can develop a trusted relationship with him. And when he goes out, just ask him where he's going and tell him you love him and he can come to you whenever something is wrong, just don't make it sound like your reluctant to let him go.

your son is probably doing lots of drugs and having unprotected sex. ecspecially at those bowling places with those girls you're worried about. boys, they're bad news. or, if you have faith in the way that you raised him, you have nothing to worry about and your over-mothering is just your lack of being able to let your son grow up. i'm sure he's a good kid.

bonfires? watsup wit that?? most likely he's probably makin out with girls n all that. do u know wat kinda people he hangs out with? i been doin that kinda stuff since i was like 12, then again my parents didnt really care. ur not being overprotective, if u trust ur kid too much then they'll take advantage of u.
also remember that some of these girls might be ho's so they might be doin some lil things for ur son (if u kno wat i mean)
