Ok I really didn't know where to put this but my friend thinks that I should send one of my poems to the newspaper for some reason and I don't. What do you think of this poem?

You took away my dignity,
You took away my pride.
Now all I can go home with
Is my empty heart inside.
You took away everything,
Everything that I knew,
You took away everything,
Except my heart but maybe that too.
I do not know what's left, but maybe somewhere inside,
Is a little piece of myself,
That no one will ever find.

I have a 2 month old baby, it's our first. She is breastfed exclusively and is growing just fine, but she has a lot of gas ALL the time. My poor baby starts sleeping and you can see her bending and stretching because of the colic, and you can also hear her tummy sounds everytime it happens, so she wakes up very easily and never has a good straight sleep. I know she is not supposed to sleep a lot at this stage, but I would love if she could sleep 2 straight hours in between feedings with less colic. She doesn't last too much inside her crib before she is awaken by the pain and this puts a lot of stress in my wife. We've tried Mylicon and don't feel it helps much or probably not at all. Has anyone tried anything else that helps with the gas? Thanks.

at 6w1d i had an ultrasound done and they said everything looked good. My hcg levels were 3900 at 6 weeks, which they say is also normal. With my other 2 pregnancys i had morning sickness. They were both healthy .Why dont i have have morning sickness?

My baby is 10 weeks old. She can no longer suck well. she cannot hold a paci in her mouth and she doesnt grip bottles well. She has been geting worse steadily, and it has been going on for a few weeks. Is there something i can do to help her relearn to do this? or does it mean she just needs to be switched to baby foods"?

My 2 month old has cradle cap, but she also has a red rash on her hairline. She is constantly scratching her scalp, as well as where the rash is located (hairline). Does anyone have a clue to what I can do about this to soothe her?

I am 18 weeks pregnant ( 4 1/2 months) and I fell down the stairs in my house? I called my midwife she said go to the ER to be on the safe side. It was almost time for me to go to work and I was'nt in pain so I went to work. Now I am at work my lower back is hurting, but I don't want to sit in the ER for about 4-5 hours before they can see me. My next DR. appointment is Friday morning. HELLLPP what should I do? I already told my boss he was ok with it.

If there are any doctors or any one that can give advice i really need it. about 20 minutes ago my husband son and myself were coming in from the pool and we have about six cement stairs leading from the in ground pool to the back yard. My son fell down from the top stair and slid down on his left side mostly on his left arm. He has "road rash" on the arm but seems fine other wise. (he didn't even cry) but he keeps holding his left arm, but also moves it. Could it be broken? should i take him to the e.r. my hubby says he is fine, and usually i would listen but i am just so upset i don't know what to do. help please!!!!

ok i know that i am pregnant but i am waiting for either friday or this weekend to take a test. i have all the symptoms and no sign of period at all on the way. tonight i am really tired which is nothing new...i went pee and there was like a very small amount of brown i wouldnt have even noticed if i didn't look(im so used to looking to make sure i am not getting my period)my boobs are so swollen and dark and nips are erect and dark..i have had slight cramping sometimes just on one side....my last mens cycle was july 2, this would be our 3rd but its been 8 years since i had a baby...any advice..thanks

I had a neg home test but a pos GP test I started bleeding and did another test for GP and he said I could be bcoz the hormone is still showing but I'm confused coz I no u can bleed but I've also read about miscarriages and that the hormone decreases over time. I have PCOS and am getting desperate me and my fella get married in Oct and would love a family. Please can any1 help. Thanks for taking time out to read this x

I am going to a baby's first birthday party this Saturday and want to make her a simple sundress out of some cute cloth I have. I don't need a pattern, I can make one myself, but I don't know how large babies usually are at age one. I know all babies are different, but a general range of height, either from neck down (better) or top of head down (also good) would be great, as well as any waist measurements or any measurements around the torso...someone has to know this sort of thing, I figure, although I can't find it online. Thanks!

my son is 6, his dad lives in oregon. this is the first summer he has taken him. he picked him up a week after school got out and said he would bring him home the middle of aug. school starts aug 28th. i still need to take my son for a physical and school clothes shopping BEFORE school starts. his father says he cant afford to bring him back untill sept 1st. to me that is unexceptable! he took him and he knew it was his responsiblity to bring him home in time. my car is running like **** and i cant just go get him.( im in notheren california).. nor should i have to! this looser dont even pay child support ... yes there is a child support order... he just got a job like 2 weeks ago. he says - i wanted to buy him some school clothes( would be a shocker) and get him a hair cut before i bringhim home. i told him thats nice and all but im not worried about that.... im worried about him comming home... i will take care of all that as usual! what can i do besides call the police...
