Yes you can get cramps when you are pregnant. Some women have cramps when they are spotting during their pregnancy. To the girl that said: no jackass! Your the jackass!

No, not necessarily a symptom, but in the early stages of my pregnancy (4-8 weeks) I had a pain like cramping on one side as well. If you are prone to fibroids or ovarian cysts, the hormone change in early pregnancy may cause them to rapidly grow, and the associated inflammation causes the cramping pain.

If it doesn't go away, you should get it checked out. Could be all kinds of things.

It could be a symptom of ovulation. Or it could be pregnancy. Early in pregnancy there is no placenta , the baby gets all the hormones it needs from a cyst that has formed on one of your ovaries. Depending on how sensitve you are you may or may not experience cramping on the ovary with the cyst until the placenta develops and the cyst leaves.

OMFG you are soooooo pregnant!!!! You need to quick stop what you're doing and ask yourself.....am I too stupid to have children?

If the answers is yes......well you know what must be done!!!! It's for the betterment of mankind....don't be so self! If you can't afford it or really are too stupid....don't push your stupidity off on the rest of society. I don't want to pay for your screaming brat and I sure as hell don't want my son or daughter having the option of possibly marrying it.

And obviously you must not be too bright if your asking this question and NOT AT WALGREENS GETTING A PREGNANCY TEST!!!!

no. cramps are usually because you have a low amount of estrogen and progesterone in your body. and one is pregnant, there is a very high level of hormones in your body because the corpus leuteum continues on developing.

how oral contraceptives work is that it's bascailly a hormonal pill where it tells your body that you have high level sor hormones and that you are pregnant so you dont have your period, hence, you wont ovulate.
