We named our daughter Hannah 5 years ago. She is the light of our life, and I can't imagine calling her anything else. So, yes, Hannah is a good name!~

I had chosen Hannah as well, unique yes but then a family member advised that although she was Samuel's mother in the bible, initially she was not able to bear children until she begged for Gods mercy and he granted her a child, I saw this as a stigma and was in great turmoil over the decision, and decided on another, the choice is yours the name itself means graced by God, dont let my words make the decision for you but hopefully just have more knowledge on what the biblical name means will help you make your decision one way or another. I feel there was a reason I was told this before she was born and I'm glad I was, everything happens for a reason. :) Congrats on your little one.

Hannah sounds like a good name to me but it gets used to much so go with a soft name like Isabella or amber.

Hannah is over used, every time i turn around there is a Hannah. My little niece is named Hannah and she is WILD, and actually a little pompous bit*h.
