Someone told me that it really works and she did this for her 4 kids. I'm not convinced though because I never heard of this. My daughter is 13 days old and the umbilical cord doesn't look like it has even started to dry out.

My son is almost 3. He didn't really have anybody to play with except his 2 cousins which are both girls. They are both mean to him. They won't let him touch their toys and they leave him out. They always yell at him and he started to not play with them anymore. He now hides behind me and clings on to my shirt. I always step in and tell my nieces to share and be nice. I was thinking maybe I needed to let him handle his own fights before actually stepping in. I let this happen for a while and I guess my son got tired of it and now he hits them. I introduce him to this other little boy who is really aggressive but my son won't even give him a chance. He'll hit him too. I know that boy will hit my boy back too so I'm careful because he is so bad. My son hits just about anybody new to him. I can't get him to socialize with others now. Everytime I try, he wants me to sit there with him the whole time. How do i get him to socialize and play with others without relying on me to sit ther w/ hi

I'm 19.I live alone in Boston. My parents are in LA,so they are too far.Anyway I was pregnant and a week ago I delivered triplets(3 girls). It was a very hard delivering,I thought I would die.But I'm better now.I work a job, which "needs" me 2 hours a day. So,when I was pregnant and thought I'd have 1 kid and considered going to work after fed the baby and return in 2 hours and keep taking care of the baby. But now they are 3!!! I'm not sure that leaving the 3 is very good - if they sleep and one of them begins to cry,the others will wake up and begin crying too.In that case, the neighbours will complain. What should I do?

I have a five month old that I'm starting to put on a more structured schedule. I'm worried that I may be over doing it. But, he hasn't given me any ques that this is too much for him, but (as a first time mommy) what do I look for?

Here's my typical schedule:
7 am wake up and eat
7:30 am play time on the play mat
8 am nap time
9:30 0 10 am wake up and play, sing, dance, or read until 10:30
10:30 am eat
11:30 1 serving of fruit, veggie, or rice cereal
11:45 nap
3 pm wake up and eat
5 pm another solid serving
5:30 nap
7 pm wake up and play until 8 pm
8 pm bath time
8:30 bottle
9 pm rock and lullabies (bedtime routine)

What do you guys think?
How can I be flexible, should I be flexible? Is scheduling my baby too mommy-esqe?

It's not only on his scalp, but his forehead at the hairline and even the skin under the eyebrows. I can only tell by feeling the rough skin or when I wash his face with a damp cloth. I've been trying to get rid of it, but it doesn't seem to be going away. Any suggestions?

Is it normal for a 14 year old girl to go to a public pool wearing two small triangles and a rectangle attach together with strings? To me, all I see is naked, but she insists that all her classmates wear string bikinis and it is totally normal. Just to clarify, she is very skinny, so how she looks is not the issue.
Has anyone made rules against this type of swimsuit, and what were the results? Can a teen still go swimming and enjoy herself in a one-piece without being ridiculed?

I am almost 38 weeks pregnant. I just saw my doctor yesterday and I have dilated to two… I forgot to ask him, but I have a family get together about 45 minutes from where I’ll be giving birth, do you think it’s a good idea to still go? I also have been having contractions quite often...

are men and women, on average, looking for a partner to spend the rest of their lives with? Refrences to websites would be appreciated. If not, it's okay. :)

Two months ago we moved my daughter from a daycare she’d been at since she was six weeks old to a new facility. Both her dad and I have started new jobs (my schedule hasn’t changed, but my husbands is till fluctuating-he now has weekends off, where before he was off during the week). My daughter never had a problem going to the former facility—it was hard to pin her down and get a hug from her before she ran off to be with her friends. She has gotten super-sensitive since we’ve made the switch. Every morning she cries about not wanting to go to school—sometimes before we even get in the car to take her there! She will be starting kindergarten in 2 weeks and we are concerned about another switch. She’s gotten extremely sensitive about one of us leaving as well. She had separation anxiety when she was an infant, but this is worse than that. When I leave for work and she’s home with daddy she starts to cry. When my mom leaves to go home (she lives 10 minutes away) she cries.

I am 4 months pregnant and have not gained any weight. I lost 10 lbs. during the first month of pregnancy, even though I didn't have morning sickness. It just melted away! I eat all day long and walk a few times a week. Has anyone else had this happen to them? My doctor seemed a little concerned during my last visit.

Is it safe to get pregnant after having 3 c-sections (my third was 3 years ago)...as I have tried and have had a miscarriage but not sure if that is from the c-sections or just was not ment to be?

It would be wonderful to have 4 kids (I am from a family of 4 kids), anyone have more than 3 c-sections and was able to carry a 4th baby full term?

Thanks! Trace

I feel bad saying this because i love her so much but its getting hard to lie to her AND to myself; its like im in denial about her physical appearance, i tell my myself she's beautidul but shes just not beautiful...actually shes FAR from beautiful. what can I do?

i always thought my kids would be beautiful because im pretty and my husband is pretty good looking. my older daughter whom is 15 is gorgeous and i tell her all the time. i even tell my younger daughter who is 13 that shes beautiful but its a lie and its been getting harder and harder for me to lie.

my mother says i obsess too much about how they look and how they dress. she says im too obsessed with my own physical appearance also. that's true because i'm only 31 and am too young to stray away from caring about what i look like so i dont know what to do or what to think. and don't be rude. I feel really bad calling a 13 year old ugly but it's the truth, and i DO love her so much....
