1st birthday? help!!!?

My son's first birthday is coming up and I would like to know if anyone might have some ideas. There will be otherchildren at the party, but most of them are walking and running around which he can't do yet. What would be something fun that all of the children would enjoy?

worried as usual condom was used, he pulled o/ what are the chances still? am I relatively safe?

does the vaginal mucus increase a week before the period starts to dramatically decrease the day before or something indicatingh the period is coming.... is the vaginal mucus a certain color..etc...anything that indicates a period coming ? I freak everymonth before my period comes on whether or not it's going to come, and I think i alter it stressing over it.....any words of wisdom

I mean, I've put on some weight (around 3-5lbs) but my eating habits are extremely poor. during these past 28 days, Ive purged, binged and restriceted to food sdo I don't know if it's from my eating habits or what. I'm expected to start this weekend so maybe it's even being bloated ?? Idk. I haven't really had any other symptoms, of pregnancy no throwing up --morning sickness, no implantation bleeding etc. I took a pregnancy test monday (but that may have been too soon). it was negative. I was thinking of taking one tomorrow which would be day 18 since the sexual epidsode ..I DID useprotection (condom)

Can somebody tell me what to do??

I am 13 years old and my boyfriend is 18 years old.I have 2 kids by him a 10 mth old son, and I am pregnant now(8 1\2 mths).He always hit on me because he think that I cheat on him and he think my kids is not his.I dont know what to do with him nomore I tried to leave him but he found me.He treat me like im his child he wont let me do nothing.When he leave the house he send somebody over the house to make sure I dont go nowhere.When I do something that he dont like he start hit on my stomach.I told him that he could kill the baby and he told me that he would stop but he keep doing it.Im scared to do anything around him because I know that one day he hit me he is going to make me lose my baby.Can somebody tell me what should I do?

How do I know if my current boyfriend really likes me?

How much weight did you gain during your pregnancy?

I gained almost 100 lbs with my first. 200 lbs the day i delivered. And only gained 36 lbs. with the 2nd.

How does one entertain toddler with terrible exhaustion and nausea?

I am seven weeks pregnant, have a sinus infection, terrible morning (all day) sickness and bad headaches. My poor daughter is feed up with my lathargy. I think I've read her over 100 books and need ideas to keep her happy and me sane!!! Thanks in advance ;)

Does my 3-year-old have to have nitrous oxide to get a filling, or can it be done without it?

My son has a small cavity in his front tooth. The dentist is recommending filling it and plans to use nitrous oxide but I'm wondering if that is really necessary. I think he can do it without the anesthesia. I'm sure other mothers have had to make this decision before, and was wondering how it turned out.

What is the first appointment like, what prenatal vitamins should I take?

Ok this is my first pregnancy, and this will be the first baby in my family, since my little brother which was17 years ago, so there advice is good, just some what outdated.

I wanted to know what the first doctors appointment is like. I am 9 weeks pregnant and I need to go soon, really soon, right? What should I expect and what should I take with me to this first appointment?

Also, What prenatal vitamins do you recommend that I can find at the local drug store?

what can happen to youre baby if you dont eat the right things?

im 6 months preg, i admit i dont eat the right things i sometimes pass on eating, i cant keep food down (morning sickness) but i do take my vitamins everyday. can anything happen to my baby.

When you are pregnant does your diet affect weither or not you will have a calm baby?

I was just wondering if you eat very little sugar and have very little caffine when pregnant will it help with having a calm baby. I have seen people with really calm babies, babies that didn't cry much or enjoyed being held. Is this because of the diet the parents followed when pregnant? Does anyone really know if no or very little sugar intake while pregnant has anything to do with the way a child may act or will act when they are born or the way they will act when they get older? I have 2 children who I really didn't follow a diet while pregnant, who are calm at times but also quite a fussy at times. (as i am sure this is true for other parents, who have children) I hope this does not seem like a dumb question.

7 Month old and cough??

My son has had a cough for the past 2 months. It isn't croupy, and it hasn't turned into a cold or anything. Sometimes he wakes up out of his sleep just to cough. He also coughs more when he has been crying. He did get whooping cough at 2 months (right before he got the vaccine) so I am wondering if this is the cause, or he just has a plain old irritant that is making him cough. Does anyone elses baby cough like this?

Is it normal to NOT tell your boyfriend's parents that you have kids?

My boyfriend is German and 'funny' about certain things.... especially about telling people that I have kids from a previous relationship... my girls are 8 and 10 years old... they are very sweet, and often wonder why they can't go with me and him places... I know he is afraid to tell his parents that he is serious with a girl who has kids, is divorced, etc... now he has ME scared to tell them too.... (just met them last night, and they are VERY friendly... !!) But I know German's are more uptight then Americans, esp about the 'proper' or 'right' way to do things.... so I am just wondering... obviously at some point the truth must be told... that I am divorced, with kids, etc.... I do want to be married (to him!) and have more children.... he is 34, and I am also.... we have been together over a year now... so my question is, is it NORMAL to not tell the parents that the person has kids? And at what point DO you tell... and isn't it more uncomfortable to 'come clean' later?

i have had a great deal of morning sickness. I also, have white discharge that is sticky. Could I be pregnant. my period is due on sunday when should I take a home pregnancy test. my nipple are not sore at all. I have been having alot of mild cramping for the pass 3 day.

Alternative to DEET for infant?

I have been making my own insect repellent and although it works ok, it lasts only about 30 minutes. I don't want to put DEET on my baby (or older children). Right now I am using lemon balm and lavender essential oils in a base of grapeseed oil (about 7-10 drops of each EO). Lemon balm is citronella, by the way.
Does anyone have a better recipe or even a store bought product that is DEET free?
