My daughter is 14 months, she had 8 front teeth and 4 molars, and hates when i brush her teeth. I have to hold her down and brush them while she is screaming... I try to do this atleast once a day. Should I be more thorough? How much should I worry about brushing her teeth? Thanks!

I tried Tums...but they don't work for long...I was up like 3 times last night with the burning and kept taking 2 Tums. And now its the morning and I still have it.
Thanks!

I am 24 weeks pregnant. For the past couple days I have felt cramping in my lower and mid stomach that almost feels like menstrual cramps. I don't think it's Braxton-Hicks because it lasts for hours, not just a few minutes. In fact last night I could only get it to go away by taking Tylenol, something I don't like to do very often. Do any mommies (or mommies-to-be) have any ideas what this could be? Should I go see my doctor?

We've got four girls attending the party (swimming, dancing, board games, sleepover). I'd like to do something they'll consider really cool for the goody bags.

When I was 5 months pregnant with my son, I had an allergic reaction to a shampoo that I use before I was pregnant and up until that point in which case I then had an allergic reaction. It caused me to be allergic to the hormones that I was producing while I was pregnant. It looked and felt like poison ivy from head to toe. It itched really bad. It was gone within an hour after I had my son except for the scars. I was just wondering how common it was. I'm now pregnant with my second son and i'm 30 weeks and nothing like that has happened again. And I have REALLY sensitive skin now.

I used to hold my daughter infront of a mirror (dressing table) from her one month but my relatives adviced me not to do so because it is harmful for her eyes. now she is one year and i do not see any thing wrong. Any problem with mirror and infants?

There are many wonderful parents out there but some just leave me completely shocked at the lack of actual parenting they do.

They then wonder why thir kids grow up as little disrespectful thugs.

Should it be compulsory to complete a parenting course and prove that you are responsible enough to to nurture and bring up a young human being ?

I am breastfeeding my second child, who is 13 days old today. My question is about my boobs! At each feed I alternate breasts. However, my left breast is very soft indeed, and my right breast is terribly engorged (painfully). Baby feeds for about the same time at each breast (about 20-30 minutes), does not seem to prefer one breast to another, and seems satisfied from either. This happened with my firstborn too - any ideas why?
