Pregnancy & Parenting - 11 July 2006

I'm about a week late for my periods, and I went to the doctor, who did a pregnancy test. It was negative, but she says there is still a large chance I could be pregnant anyway.

I have to go back next week for another test if I haven't had my period by then.

She wants me to take folic acid, and treat it as if I were pregnant. I find this kind of strange... She says there is a high chance that I am, as I have also been having abdominal pains, sore boobs etc.. for over 10 days now, but with no bleeding.

Do you think she is right? I'd love the answer to be "yes", but what do you think? I've been trying for 5 months now!

Hi,
I am pregnant and have been accepted for a course in the USA to study. My delivery date is expected during the middle of my course, and I cannot find any insurance company to cover my pregnancy.
a. Do you know any insurance company that would cover me?
b. How much is the average cost of antenatal and normal delivery?
c. Any advice on what to do?

After my beautiful baby was born 14 months ago I suffered very badly from post natal depression. It was quite debilitating and one of the worse things I have ever had to go through in my life. It took me almost a year to beat it and now that my husband and I are thinking about having another baby I’m terrified that I might have to go through it all again. Is it common for it return with each pregnancy or is it just the luck of the draw?

I have recently been diagnosed w/a terminal illness, however my 2 teenagers won't talk 2 me about it all they do is yell @ me and quit telling myself anything is gonna happen. I feel their in denial and I don't blame them cause I'm a little bit 2 but they don't know that. Also the rest of my family won't discuss it as well w/me. I think it's because of the thought of me passing and that's ok cause I learned 2 deal w/that but it's very important that my children and I talk about this. I'm a young mom. Thank You.

My 14 yr old step daughter has admitted having sex with a 14 yr old boy and is telling us she is pregnant. Unfortunately neither her mother or father want to deal with it and she hasn't done a pregnancy test. I want to deal with it but am in the difficult position of being 'the wicked stepmother'.

What should I do? I'm trying to get her over to the house to do a home pregnancy test, but at the mo, she is grounded and not allowed out of the house.

Would Social Services help if they were informed? Her school is aware of the situation.

Any advice would be gratefully rec'd, I'm tearing my hair out not being able to do anything

I have a problem of not being able to ejaculate in my partner. We can have intercourse at it for 1.5 to 2 hrs and i cant seem to ejaculate, however am able to do so through masturbation. Anyone has any idea how to treat this? Its seems to be called delayed ejaculation
