Im 24, just found out a few min. ago that im pregnant. It happened within the first month of trying to conceive!!
Im so over the moon, but i also know im one of the lucky ones to conceive that quick!!!

One important thing, i didn't stress over it. I just enjoyed the sex and especially the love!!!

I am 31 and over the last 2 years that we have been trying for a baby i have heard all sorts of stories about people trying for 1 month up to 8 years, I think the norm is about a year though. I am seeing a specialist now because its been a while but i am not worried because there are no major problems. Apparently when you worry about it you produce cortisone that affects the quality of your eggs, i am trying to chill about it now and i reckon you be pregnant soon if you get on with other things and try to put it to the back of your mind. I was determined not to be obsessed and ring my husband to come home from work because i am ovulating!! We have decided that we are happy and have a good life, so if it happens it happens. I hope it works out for you, if you are still trying after a year they recommend you see a doctor to make sure everythings ok. Good luck xx

I'm 27....The first time it only took about 3 months or so...now we have been trying for 3 years and I just started taking pills to get me regulated...I've had irregular periods...

I believe at our age, I read, that wait 6 months to a year before you get concerned...you can always go to your OB/GYN and get checked out and ask lots of questions!!!

Good luck!

I think i read somewhere that the average was 6months. If after a year you still are'nt then go and see your doc who will help and advise. Dont worry tho it will happen. I had a friend who tried for over 18months as soon as she took her mind off it and started planning her wedding she got preggers.

I would,nt worry about it apparently the more stressed you are the longer it,ll take. I had my second child 4 years after my first but everybody,s different.Just stay chilled out and let nature take it,s course and in the meantime enjoy it.It,ll happen when you least expect it GOOD LUCK!

It's just a theory, however, could it be that your inability to 'catch' pregnant is down to the fact that you stink like a wet dog which is putting off any prospective mates, aside from hairy ones with wet noses?
