Well, it depends...
How long have you known your "stepsister"?
Did you grow up together? If so, then your parents may have issues about that.
Technically, your not related, by biological means, but, legally, there may be some issues as your both considered a family, by virtue of your step sister being adopted and having your last name.
(Hmmm just making a small joke here, but, if you DID marry her, she wouldnt have to get her last name changed, eh?...sorry, couldnt refuse that one)...
I would discuss it with her, and then the family first...

I think this would make things in your family very awkward and would warn against it...
Imagine if you decide not to continue your relationship with her and then you meet at EVERY FAMILY EVENT forever...
