hes 14 and going into 8th grade is that normal or does that mean hes gay cause i feel bad for him cause he always get picked on and called gay?

Dont worry, when its time, he will get a girl friend. Some guys are shy, or mature at a slower rate, (socially), and have to take it at thier own pace...
As for being picked on, tell a Teacher or Principle, and if something isnt done about this, tell the Police!!
I know, its a terrible place to be in, being picked on, when your in school and no one seems to care, it makes you NOT want to go to school and you begin to hate everyone. This could add to his social dysfunction even more!
The best thing you can do, is alert some one that this is happening and get people off your brothers back...

Your 14 y/o brother not having a girlfriend doesn't mean he's gay. Your 14 y/o brother having a boyfriend means he's gay.

There is no such thing as normal when it comes to having girlfriends or boyfriends. Maybe he just has other priorities. When he finds someone, he will get involved. Until then, just tell him to ignore the narrow-minded people. If he is gay, does it really matter? Unfortunately, younger gay guys do not act on their feelings because they fear the torture they will get from school mates.

ummm... he's fine. if he's gay, so what. gay people are humans too and can be pretty cool. maybe he just hasnt found the right girl yet though. he's your brother... so you should support him no matter what his sexual preference is. Im almost 14 and I havent had a boyfriend. thats not weird at all.
and by any chance did he flunk a grade? cuz I was 13 wen I went into 8th grade...

No, I didn't have my first girlfriend until i was 18, i was just shy around girls, though i did have many crushes before i was 18. Though i was never called gay... i wonder why he's getting picked on... is he small? have him play some sports and excel at something, they'll boost his confidence and hopefully lead him to scoring.

Most guys this age are shy, that does not mean that he is gay. He will mature and I'm sure have lots of girlfriends. Anyone that picks on him is probably insecure about their own dating habits or sexuality.

His time will come. He may just be shy when it comes to girls. Then again he may be gay , but with so much hassle he is getting from others about it, he may prefer to keep it under wraps for now.
Don't question him about the possibilities. Just love him as your brother regardless.

if he has no gf u think he s gay? hmmm how old r u to think like this about 14 years old child? when i was 14 i ws playing with dolls and i had my bf when i was 17 so my sister never thought i m lesbian:P
