My 11 1/2 yr. old step son just came to live with us 6 weeks ago. My husband's ex-wife got tired of dealing with his behavior and told my husband it was his turn. We have had problems with my stepson stealing, both food(snacks, candy, cokes, etc.) and money(the latest was $20.00 from me). He seems to show no remorse or shame, only anger that he got caught. He has a bad habit of contantly asking "Can I have this, Can I have that?" or "Can you buy me this, Can you buy me that?" I know that he is probably just trying to see what he can get out of us, but it is real aggrivating. My husbands ex-wife kept my husband out of his kids lives for about 4 yrs. He fought her for a long time, but eventually gave up when he saw he was getting no where with her and didn't have the finances to keep fighting her. My stepson thinks it was because he was a bad kid. He doesnt want to see the councelor that we are taking him to. Says it is not going to help and that he doesn't need any help.

so I posted the question earlier about my daughter saying that someone is at school is toucbhing her privates....well I called the daycare and told the director what was going on.

well she said she would call me later....10 minutes later she calls me back saying that it could not possibly have happened at her facility.

SCREW that..I am getting a new daycare.

I'm not asking do you regret having kids, but do you regret having them when you had them? Would you have waited? Would you have had them earlier? Or, did you plan it out accordingly and you had them at the right time?

I am having the hardest time trying to get my little girl to lay down and go to bed at night. She is use to sleeping with me...... my fault, I know. But, up until this point, I have been to lazy to get up and put her in her own bed at night. I have another baby due in October and I need to get my little girl to sleep in her toddler bed, by herself. She likes her bed, it's a princess bed, but she just wants me to hold her all night. It's driving me crazy!!! Please help!

I told my son since he doesn't have a lot of parties, he could invite 10 of his 4-6 year old friends over and have pop corn, drinks and a movie. Any suggestions? Not too old, that they'd see it a million times because that wouldn't be fun.

for the past 3 days, i've been experiencing cramping, contrations every 10-15 minutes (they dont hurt), bursts of energy, *hot flashes*, nausia, and my back has hurt through the whole pregnancy, but its steadily getting worse... could these be signs that "the end is near"?

I have a 2 yr old. I am at a loss what to do. He would only want me to hold him all the time. If i don't, he screams. He would also wake up like 3 times a night a just cry and ask me to hold him. Why would he be doing that? I'm exhausted. Any similar experiencies. Thank you

I meant to ask this before I did it, but time was not on my side. it's my first pregnancy I will be 34 weeks on sunday. My friends asked me to go swimming and as far as I knew swimming is okay for pregnant woman, but just in case I am wrong...was it okay to go swimming? I stayed in the water most of the time because I heard staying in the sun was a bad idea, but I did sit out a little while. Should I be worried or is everything okay?

My husband and I have had our dog since he was a puppy. He is 2.5 years old now and is our baby. He is with us everyday and goes with us everywhere except on our occasional weekend vacation when he is babysat by my parents. He is our family.

I love this dog like he was my real kid, he is so precious and loving and I know if I love my dog as much as I do I am going to be a great mom! :)

Problem is I don’t want him to not feel like part of the family when we have get pregnant with our first child next year. I won’t be able to spend hours a day with him, but I don’t want to neglect him either.

How do I transition him from the baby of the family to the “older sibling” position? He is just happy laying at my feet with his toys, but if he is left out too much he gets depressed. If my husband and I are hugging a lot then he wants to be picked up and hugged by both of us. (He is 12 lbs.)

It sounds silly but people with dogs may understand my love for my little dog.

Ok i took a pregnancey test it come out negative
My mom said i should take my morning pee and i did and come out postive .... and just too make sure i took another one this morning and come out negative again .but now i am bleeding(brownish color). for a day and now i am light pink red color but its not heavy flowing
Am i pregnant or not.... going to see a doctor next week.. but i am confuse with the negative and postive results

I am 17, pregnant...and have told all my parents and boyfriends parents...i am adopted, just not finalized yet...my biological mother was disapointed and excited and my adopeted are disapointed...my due date is March 12, 2007...so in the coming months what should i expect from being pregnant??? this is my first...and i just quit smoking to help the babies and my heath....i don t drink or do any drug...and am afraid of the horse pills(prenatal vitamins) i am taking "Flintstones With Iron" (im borderline anemic) is this safe??? When I delivered my second son, my doctor asked me and my husband if we were done having children. When we responded yes, he said we needed to be due to my uterus being so thin that my son was trying to break through.
I just found out I am pregnant again... unexpected, but want to go ahead with the pregnancy.
Is it safe?
It has almost been four years since my last section and will be close to five years by the time the baby is delivered. Is this enough time for the uterus to heal and carry another child?
Any help would be extremely appreciated.

Okay my husband is has to go to court in Texas for child custody of his 4 year old on Aug. 8th. I am 8 months prengnant now and my due date is Aug 9th. I'm super stressed b/c I don't want him to miss the birth of his child? I don't want to ask him to push the court date back b/c his sons mother has basically took off with his son during her visitation. What should I do before I make myself go crazy thinking about whats more important to him. He seems to only care about his son and not that I'll be having his 3rd child around the time he has court.

I still need to keep her "contained" at times while I do dishes or laundry - she's walking, but not well enough for me to let her wander without me being right there watching.

We don't have a traditional high chair - just a small one that ties down to a chair and she's miserable in that. I don't like to use the Pak N Play because I nanny 3 days a week and when we'd go to their house and I had her playing in it, she gave me a hard time about napping in it. When I quit putting her in it to play, she started taking naps much easier in it.

I'm stumped. Does anyone know any tricks or products that I'm not familiar with?

I'm 28 weeks pregnant and a high risk pregnancy. I'm currently on bed rest and the doctor said there is a good chance I will be having my baby early. We know it's a boy but my husband and I can't agree on any names. I want something kind of unique. Please give me some suggestions.

I'm 39 weeks pregnant - a few days shy of full term - and I've had a few false alarms. My doctor gave me a few ways to jumpstart labor...but none of them are working! I really do not want to be induced so any helpful hints would be great! I'm having contractions consistently and have dropped - but no other "labor-ready" signs.
