My doctor told me every other day is your best bet because that way you do not miss your ovulation time and you give the sperm time to mature. Every time a man ejaculates he immediately starts producing more sperm, new and fresh but it has to get strong enough to swim, that is why every other day is recommended. Something I recommend you to do is, since TTC is a real task! we as women dry a little bit because of the constant make loving so using a lubricant will help you enjoy sex more and make it much more comfortable. There is a lubricant called Preseed which is sperm friendly, it does not kill sperm like other lubricants and saliva do and it is also a vagina moisturizer, it also helps the little swimmers live a bit longer. Check it out on the net. When I planned my pregnancy I didn't want to loose any chances of getting pregnant so I used it the first time we tried and I got pregnant the first month. Good luck!!

To get pregnant, you need to have unprotected sex around the time of ovulation. For most women, ovulation occurs about 14 days before your period is due. So, if you have regular 28-day cycles, you will probably ovulate around day 14 (the first day of your period is day 1). Sperm can live for a few days and the egg can live about a day, so many doctors suggest you try every other day or every day from about 5 or 6 days before you expect to ovulate, up through the day of ovulation or the next day. Sperm needs to be in the vicinity before you ovulate for the best chance of conception.

actually doing it too much lowers the sperm count. here is what you do.. go on www.babyzone.com and type in the first day of your last period and how many days are in your cycle and click on trying to conceive. it will then give you a calender of your most fertile days, i would do it once a day on those days, and maybe do it twice on the day that says it's your most fertile.. good luck, keep me posted.

it isn't so much a matter of how often as it is a matter of when - if you are having sex during your fertile times, then you are boosting your chances of getting pregnant. Here are some sites to help you know when you are ovulating. Good luck!

They say to only do it every other day because it can take 24 hours for sperm to restart... and the man should not masturbate either that can harm the sperm count also.

3-4 times a week. You actually don't want to over do it because it will lower the sperm's virility.
