Is it possible that the framers of the Constitution were inspired by God to write the Constution? Could it be that they didn't really understand fully what they were creating?

I want to know:

How do Mormons view Reid?

How does the state of Nevada feel about Reids comments?

Personally I cant stand him. After I researched his voting record, I realized that he is a man of contradictions.
He voted against a ban on assault wepons.
He voted for the Brady Bill
He is pro-life
He advocates the death penalty
He opposes the tax breaks for big oil companies
He opposes gay marriage
He has a lousy stance on illegal immigration

Are you fed up with people who make the shortsighted statement that if we are not 100% in favor of the War in Iraq that you are a traitor, treasonous, or hate the Military? I think it is insanity, I support the military by not wanting them to be in harms way for an unnecessary war, but apparently you only have your First Amendment rights if you agree with them...

I often hear people on here saying that liberals are "unamerican" and that they should support our president regardless etc. ect.

I was just wondering whether this will change when a democrat gets in after next election. Will you instantly accept them because they are your president or will liberals be able to call you "unamerican" then because you don't like it?

Why did he call the terrorists that flew the planes on 9/11....heroes? Do liberals agree with his statement?

He is a very popular democratic figure. Even after this statement. This says a lot about Democratic politics.

The pentagon said months ago that the military will be completely tapped by April 2008 and would have to start reducing the level of troops by then.

Why is Bush going to pretend that it is his decision versus reality?

Use whatever context you like. I think this is one of the fundamental questions in politics.

Sen. John Warner (yes, a Republican) asked Gen. Petraeus if our mission is making America safer. He said that he thought what we are doing was the best course of action to achieve the objectives in Iraq. Warner repeated, "Does that make America safer?" and Petraeus said, "You know, I don't know actually".

If the lead General of the armed forces in Iraq does not know if our involvement there is making America safer, isn't it time to take a long hard look at what we are really doing there?
