It's business as usual today Suth. But you have already noticed that. America is divided now more than ever. No one can decide on what is the truth. They don't know how to remember 9/11. They don't know what the truth is anymore. That is exactly what the Bush administration wants. With all the confusion surrounding everything it is so much easier for them to do what they want and get away with it. Iran is a foregone conclusion. The troops are going nowhere. It is a lie. Iran will be dealt with before Bush leaves office. The withdrawal is a cover. If they are saying that want to withdraw people won't believe they have been planning to attack Iran all along. Something is going to have to happen in order for the US to attack Iran. It has to look like retaliation rather than aggression. The people of the US will support it because the media (Bill O'Reilly) will grasp onto the fact that President Bush and Petreaus both confirmed a pullout of troops. They will use this as a way of saying we had no intention and the public will swallow it up. I would suggest though that another attack will be needed on your soil as well. Osama will be blamed and his place of refuge will be Iran. Something along those lines.

I'll have a rough time ever forgetting the united "compassion" and "fortitude" it gave so many United States Citizens.

Yes there was sadness, bitterness and anger, but we came together in a way that too many of us are guilty of previously avoiding.

Our job efficiency rate skyrocketed. The first return of such numbers since WWII. No, it's not all numbers and it's not all about efficiency in the work place...

It's about people's personal inner strengths joining with others while increasing our pride, our bonds, our commitment on working together through adverse conditions while not having to have fear of others impeding on our actions and placing judgment on us for their own personal gain. Sacrifice.

Will business be as usual? Yes, too soon I might add.

It was nice to remember why we fight for our freedom.

Captain Troll, I assume that by "Had the gov't did what it was supposed to do before hand" you are talking about Slick Willie taking OBL out when he had the chance, all 3 times.

If you are implying that towards Bush, then you better rethink your logic.

Rick V, they are already having trouble being believed by the public. Do you really think adding more lies on top of what they already fave done is a wise thing?

I've commemorated this day by spending it here. Tomorrow will be business as usual WORKING.

I think many made the effort to be civil. I only got blocked by one user and won't say how many violations I received.

For civil discourse. We should allow freedom of speech when it's civil, people! Come on!!

Unfortunately disloyal liberals have spent the better part of the day trashing General Petraeus's character. A man wounded in combat 3 times for his country.

We will remember. 2750 killed.
Cambodia - Pol Pot -- 2.000.000 killed
Hiroshima -- 135,000 killed
Nagasaki -- 64,000 killed
Vimy Ridge -- 3598 Canadians killed -- http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20070409.wvimyfields09/BNStory/VimyRidge/home

Dresden -- 10s of thousands killed (war crime?)
Holocaust -- 6,000,000 European Jews killed
Soviet POWs -- 2 to 3 million killed
Roma -- 220,000 to 500,000 killed
Political -- 1 to 1.5 million killed
Serbs --- 600,000 killed
Poles -- 200,000 killed
Freemasons -- 80 to 200,000 killed
Disabled --- 75 to 250,000 killed
Gay Men --- 5 to 15 thousand killed

I would really like to know why our media doesn't headline the fact that 9/11 and the invasion of Iraq are not even remotely linked. It's very dangerous for a nation to base its decisions on lies and falsehoods.

We spent the day how? I saw more "rants" today than I have in the last six months.

After today, I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
