I got this from a site and it says all the things I needed to say in reply to the idiotic notion that the WTC was brought down by controlled explosions:

Even those who believe this, there has to have been United and American airliners, otherwise you have to suppose that the govt had to keep all the airline personnel quiet, which is of course ridiculous.

When you consider the number of individuals involved in planning and execution, the explosive experts, the demolition professionals, the building engineers, the missile launch and maintenance personnel, the air traffic controllers and air base personnel, the kidnappers who had to remove the civilians from the planes and kill or hide them forever, the aircraft maintenance personnel who modified the planes, the agencies or organizations that provided the explosives, missiles, and planes, the pilots or robotic flight programmers to fly the planes, and God knows who else… the number of direct conspirators would have to be in hundreds

I am always amazed at the reactions of many conservatives, particularly conservative Republicans, to the issue of global warming.
Not only do they dismiss the idea but some of them get angry. I have seen them get so worked up about it. I have seen them literally yelling as they angrily denounce it.
Why such a strong reaction?

What do you think about the fact that throughout our presidential history, we've only elected white, caucasian MEN? What gives here? I think it's bazaar and have really never heard anyone address it.

I think Musharraf has a lower approval rating then Bush does here. Pakistan has nukes and Pakistanis are harboring Bin Laden who continues to call for attacks on americans.

we're like 10-2 now, huh ... before anyone says we haven't lost it yet, its unwinnable ... and (if anyone knows history) we knew it would end like this going in

will these mistakes lead to a new understanding of diplomacy, and a new paradigm without war? Or will we continue to move backwards as a country and elect people who will make similar mistakes

he claims he is required to and refuses to dump it back at the post office. why would their be a law that requires piles of crap for you to load up your trash can. i bet that 90% of the weight they have to handle is bulk that nobody wants to see. do you understand? frustrated.

Jimmy Carter's presidency was followed by Ronald Reagan's presidency. I felt miserable about the country under Carter. The press constantly scared me about Ronald Reagan starting a nuclear war if he was elected. Reagan got our hostages out of Iran. Reagan lived through an assasination attempt and had a great sense of humor about it. Reagan retalliated against Libya. Reagan turned the economy around. Reagan ended the cold war. Reagan was the opposite of what the press actually described. This was also a turning point in my trusting American journalism.

I started watching Crossfire on CNN...Pat Buchanan made infinitely more sense than Michael Kinsley with his little vein popping out of his head. I noticed the ACLU was almost always undermining the best qualities of the US, and usually backed by democrat pundits.

In college, in a political science class, taking a self-information test on where I stand politically, I was conservative, but did not even know it.

Let me get this right. The republicans are passionate in their hate to pay taxes to help the United States. you know for tings like better public roads, beaches, National parks, forests, public schools etc.

But when it comes to Iraq they gleefully get scared by Bush and send U.S. tax dollars to the "cause" in Iraq.

I don't get it. On the one hand they hate paying taxes for America and our great country and people. Yet on the other hand Bush simply scares the republicans and they give money like candy to Bush in Iraq.

So being a sensible taxpaing patriot is crazy. But getting scared and throwing $3 Billion dollars a week away on Iraq is sensible?

I don't know if Whoopi is trying to get ratings or if she or the show decided the Whoopi would cut Elizabeth off whenever she brought up politics but I think this was real rude of Whoopi today on the view. Elizabeth is entitled to her opinion by the 1st amendment. A know that Elizabeth is long-winded, but she is entitled to her opinion. After all, she appears to be the only Conservative on the show, so I think they should balance it out by letting her speak her peace.

And this is coming from a "Red-Dog" Democrat

Russia tests 'Dad Of All Bombs'
Russia's military has successfully tested what it describes as the world's most powerful non-nuclear air-delivered bomb.

Channel One television said the new ordnance, nicknamed the "Dad Of All Bombs" is four times more powerful than the US "Mother Of All Bombs".

"The tests have shown that the new air-delivered ordnance is comparable to a nuclear weapon in its efficiency and capability," Col Gen Alexander Rukshin, a deputy chief of the Russian military's General Staff, said.

Unlike a nuclear weapon, the bomb does not pose an environmental threat from the release of radiation, he added.

The statement reflected the Kremlin's efforts to restore Russia's global clout and rebuild the nation's military might.

The muscle-flexing comes at a time when ties with Washington have become strained over US criticism of Russia's slips on democracy, Moscow's vociferous protests against US missile defence plans and rifts over global crises.

The US Massive Ordnance Air Blast, a large-yield satellite-guided, air delivered bomb, had been described as the most powerful non-nuclear weapon in history.

Channel One said that while the Russian bomb contained about 7 tons of high explosives compared with more than 8 tons of explosives in the US bomb, it is four times more powerful because it uses explosives developed with the use of nanotechnology.

While the American bomb was equivalent to 11 tons of TNT, the Russian one was equivalent to 44 tons of regular explosives. The Russian weapon's blast radius is 1,000 feet, twice as big as that of the US design, the report said.

I just get this feeling that now that Bush has started to agree to pull out to pre-surge levels by summer, that he's getting ready to send those soldiers elsewhere.....

Like Iran. What with all the propaganda closely resembling the same techniques our White House used for justification of the Iraq War.

Hopefully, I'm wrong about this, but what do you all think?

For those of you who have seen the Loose change video or ones similar or just heard the facts of why people think that 9/11 may have been set up by our own U.S. government, what do you think?

I like many others was completely devasted on 9/11, after watching Loose Change I honestly believe it to some extent. Now, I am PISSED. I am mad that I only have seen this on the internet, is anyone going to take this further? I want to see this on tv. I want other people to at least see the facts that I saw.

The thing that convinced me to believe Loose Change was 1. The Twin Towers collapsing looked identically to buildings that demolished by control and they focus in on small explosions going off on each floor, also people who worked in the towers said they had mysterious "construction" work a few weeks prior and no one knew what they were doing.

Right now I am just saying I am unsure, but it is freaking scary not knowing for sure either way. That is why I want to know more opinions???
