"They (the Jews) work more effectively against us, than the enemy's armies. They are a hundred times more dangerous to our liberties and the great cause we are engaged in . . . It is much to be lamented that each state, long ago, has not hunted them down as pest to society and the greatest enemies we have to the happiness of America."

We seem to already be on the road to becoming another Zimbabwe....

The President wants to stay in office. The Minister of Health has been proven to be a thief, alcoholic, liar, incompetant, etc., yet is defended by the government & will not be fired. The former deputy-president sexually assaulted a woman & then took a shower to eliminate the risk of getting AIDS. Corruption is rife, with ministers stealing money to go on holidays. The leader of the Opposition Party has been arrested on a BS excuse. A Member of Parliament thrown out because he asked an open question.

Need I say more??? I will appreciate everyone's opinions.

Seeing as the plans for invading Iraq was in the works BEFORE 911, why would the create this plans, knowing the American people and Congress would not approve of it. They would need something to happen that was so catastrophic to scare Americans into rubber stamping anyhthing they wanted to do. Why would PNAC plan for expansion into the middle east without knowing if they would be able execute their plan?? Would you invest all that time and money into something you couldn't do? HEY what are the chances, complete intellegence failure and 911. Call me a kook, but I've got two eyes, two ears and a brain I'm not going to be played for a fool.

It's been three years since we saw this guy and he chooses now to release a video? Now that the congress is taking reports from Gen. Patraeus that could determine how soon we leave Iraq? Now that anyone who wants to leave Iraq now will seem to be echoing exactly what Bin Laden said? Doesn't it seem that if he wanted us to leave Iraq, sooner rather than later, now would be the time that he would make himself scarce? This is the guy who orchestrated the most successful attack upon the US in history and he chooses now to put out a video containing rhetoric that makes everyone who wants to leave Iraq sound just like him?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of Brown or the Labour party, but there have been three ocassions since Blair left that I thought would be the typical Government screw up and all three occasions it has not been as bad as I thought.

I mean the response to the terror attacks, the flooding over the summer and more recently the foot in mouth - which the EU is imminently declaring the UK free of.

In previous examples of all three cases, its been a total disaster... and while in some cases there was no way to WIN per say, at least decisive action stopped us losing by as much as we could have.

I sort of grudgingly feel that perhaps credit is due to the government for dealing with things well.

What are your opinions?

Within the EU, governments retain sole responsibility for levels of taxation on personal incomes and company profits. What a EU taxation policy would do is ensure that tax rules are consistent with the goals of job creation, the EU’s competitiveness, the single market and free movement of capital.

Some argue that member states are best placed to take appropriate economic measures for their country. Others argue that greater economic and fiscal coordination is required between member states.

So are you in favour of a European tax? If so or not, why?

I'll be more specific.
My nation had a very strong and effective leader for 32 years before the US tired of him & replaced him with 'democracy'.
Since former President Suharto's forced abdication- all indicators for standard of living have dropped to far below than the worst of the Asian financial crisis (curiously enough exacerbated by following IMF advice to the letter).
Our poor were once ascending- now we have at least 50 million struggling on less than 50 US cents per day. All subsidies enabling them to survive reasonably (cooking fuel, cooking oil, rice, water, health, education) have been slashed (cheers IMF again).
Democracy was heralded as our saviour- but it hasn't delivered.
To me it only benefits the elites to become wealthier than ever and the foolish bourgeois believing they are either helping the lower classes or helping themselves ascending in class- reality is
they are powerless & insignificant

Is democracy a poorer form of governance than monarchistic rule?

Study at Princeton, with full technical paper explains how @
website: http://itpolicy.princeton.edu/voting

Shows exactly how easy it would be for someone with access to one voting machine to take advantage of malicious code and infect and rig an entire election with a simple virus, that would be able to steal votes and cover its tracks.
So easily when your brother is in control of the election as Jeb Bush was, in Florida.

This shows it can be done..and we all know who was capable of doing it in 2000.

The real concern is contacting your representatives and having them change the voting procedures for use of the Diebold voting machines for the next elections.

Can they garnish your wages and if so how much can they garnish?

If you own stock or have an inheritance can they get that?

And if you don't show up to court can the person sue you for not showing up.

I was in a car accident with this guy. I was driving my mother's car. She is being sued also but had nothing to do with the accident. I am being sued for bodily injuries and car damages. I am employed but I know I don't make enough to afford a lawyer nor do I make enough to pay off his judgment. The car I was driving had no insurance, that's why he's suing me. WHAT do I do in a situation like this? This is my first accident. And I'm very unfamiliar about how the laws work in a case like this.

I would like to have a lawyer or someone who has been in a situation like this to give me some answers or advise...or just an individual

Is America on autopilot? Is anybody behind the wheel of our economy? I'm not so sure if Americans would have done any worse even if we hadn't elected a President. It just seems as though Bush was elected, sat in the presidents' chair and did nothing while Cheney and buddies at Haliburton and Bush's Oil buddies got rich. The rich and greedy are taking advantage of the poor by taking their homes instead of lowering interest rates where they can afford them. The rich and greedy are taking the contracts in New Orleans to build townhome and masion instead of giving the contracts to the contractors living in New Orleans so that could be back their homes that they lost.

or for some of you, today. I think we really need to take a minute to remember the people who have died, and make sure we honor thier deaths.

I can't post images, but here are a few links to some memorial-type pictures I made for the 6th anniversary. Let me know what you think, I hope we can all reflect:

I haven't been able to find any sound answers to this question. A lot of conspiracy theorist point to this as proof that the government at the very least had knowledge of 9/11 before it happened. I don't agree and I don't think that that is any kind of "proof" that I would hang a man for. There has to a more logical reason for if he truely was guilty he would go under oath and then lie like I believe Clinton did.

Four star general... serving his country honorably... telling the truth about what's going on in the ground in Iraq.

Liberals like Lantos think they are qualified to call this man a liar? Based on what knowledge??

Liberals aren't fit to shine his shoes.

Thank you Petraeus for your service to America.

Were they all caught? Did they like the US so much they decided to live in peace in the US? Did they all return to wherever they came from? Are they still waiting after 7 years to do their "terror" thing? Stange how nothing has happened on US soil considering how easy it is to disrput the system. Remember..there is so much crime in the US anyway that the US cannot handle. So what happened to those "terrorists". Ever think it is a LIE? THe real war is against your tax dollar in the name of "rebuilding" Iraq and the war on "terror". Suckers.
