Did it ever cross your minds that a withdrawl might signify good sense rather than weakness ? I would prefer to bring all of our troops home from overseas, stop being the world's police force, and mind our own business. All of those men and women could be put to better use, and the cost of maintaining bases across the globe could be used for domestic programs. Of course, the military-industrial complex would never allow it.

What would we be afraid of Iraq is in shambles! Is the big bad Iraq gonna come and get us? LOL

The only reason our troops are being attacked over their is because they are OVER THERE.

>>>Can I add something a few days later...
I don't understand what people are afraid of here in the USA. Clearly our occupation of a Muslim country is the reason why were are fighting terrorists groups like AL-queda over there. Many Muslim's have answered the call and joined up to fight us.
Leaving would alleviate a great deal of tension between us and them and is really a good idea.
These groups don't have the means to fight us over here. How could they possibly? Sure a small hand full could slip through, but our security is way better than it was 6 years ago. One could blow up a car or something, but the people in the USA who are living their lives in fear didn't read the back page headline on September 12th 2001;
300 Million Americans survive September 11th.

There would be nothing more to fear than with them over there except that more of them would survive unharmed. Everybody keeps saying that Bush has done such a good job keeping the battle off American soil since 9/11, but the absurdity that those people who say that are not realizing is that 9/11 happened under his watch! If he had paid better attention to the intelligence we had instead of making his own stuff up it may never had happened.

No, I would not! The troops will come home when our government has the production of oil securely in the hands of the oil industry. As in Saudi Arabia, We will make the controlling government or family or whatever, very wealthy thereby keeping the masses in line. That is why we setup the government in Iraq that we did. Problem is, the warring sects (Shiities &sunnis) were not anticipated. I'm sure our oil controlled administration thought this was going to be over years ago. That's why bush kept buying more time months at a time. MY belief; You will see the oil industry firmly entrenched in Iraq as it is in Saudi Arabia. Saddam would NOT allow the oil kings into his empire for fear of them eventually eliminating him. Hence the invasion! Money, money, money!!!!!!!! Our blood for money, what a trade!

The same argument was used when we had to fight the communists in Vietnam. But, you know what? So far, even though we lost that one, Vietnamese communists have not secured a beachhead on Malibu. Now What's up with that? I have a feeling that twenty years from now we will not be speaking arabic and quoting the Koran either.

No more in fear than I do right now, with this president in office contemplating invading Iran.

I would actually feel more safe because the troops would be here defending their own country... considering even our national guard troops are overseas.

If the troops come home it will be against NWO policy and since the agenda is to stike Iran come hell or high water, be prepared for another 911 and like Ashcroft said, "this time it will be nuclear"
guess who the trigger man is?

I'd hoard food. Here's the plan of the Mahdi:

1) US leaves, abdicating world leadership.
2) Iran moves in.
3) Iran turns off the oil.
4) Democrats tax US citizens to pay a tribute.
5) US becomes 100% socialist.
6) China takes Iran and it's Middle-East holdings.
7) The world becomes Communist.
8) Millions upon millions die in the process.
9) Then you and I pull the old bicycles out of the shed and fix the flat tires... if we haven't been nuked yet.

As a veteran US Army soldier you have totally lost me on this one. The soldiers have done a wonderful job of protecting our country and our freedoms. They deserve to be back in their own country and enjoy some of those freedoms for themselves. Do you have some type of fear of soldiers....they are the good guys? What are you so in fear of? I'll just be glad to see my fellow troops at home, safe and sound after defending our freedoms and safety.
