Four star general... serving his country honorably... telling the truth about what's going on in the ground in Iraq.

Liberals like Lantos think they are qualified to call this man a liar? Based on what knowledge??

Liberals aren't fit to shine his shoes.

Thank you Petraeus for your service to America.

Most Liberals aren't qualified to do much of anything. Gen. Petraeus is an honorable man. He has served this great country for many, many years and only deserves respect. Anyone who says otherwise is a coward! Liberals are the Armchair generals of the world. Sitting in their trailer park watching Jerry Springer and eating Doritos, oh and drinking kool-aid. Most libs aren't qualified to flip burgers.

the general is an honorable man, I respect him, he has spent his life defending this country, I only spent 8 years. I think he knows what he is talking about, unlike the libs that have never served. But the libs are set in defeat to make our country weaker. He is "widely regarded as one of the brightest soldiers of his generation and has been described as "brilliant" by retired four-star Gen. Barry McCaffrey. On the other hand, Lawrence Korb, a Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress, a liberal American political policy research and advocacy organization, has called him "the most political general since General MacArthur" and said that "[he] is very ambitious" (adding "and there’s nothing wrong with that").[3]

Petraeus was the General George C. Marshall Award winner as the top graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College - class of 1983. He subsequently earned a Master of Public Administration (1985) and a Ph.D. (1987) in International Relations from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. He later served as Assistant Professor of International Relations at the U.S. Military Academy, and also completed a fellowship at Georgetown University. He has a BS from the U.S. Military Academy - class of 1974.

. I feel sorry for them

Libs are absolutely qualified to shine Patraeus' boots, in the same way that Patraeus is absolutely qualified to shine Bush's knob.

If one person tells a lie, it is a lie.
If two people tell a lie, it is a shared delusion.
If three people tell a lie, it is a conspiracy.
If less than half of the population of the USA tells a lie, it is the neocon party.

So if someone has a different opinion than Petraeus then he is not qualified to state said opinion. I thought that is why we were fighting in Iraq? To give the Iraqi people democracy. Also freedom of speech. So with this thinking then we should not give them this right. We should not allow them to think or say a different opinion than Saddam Hassan. We should also say that most are not qualified to carry his boots.

Does slamming liberals make you feel better about yourself? What if you find out the General was just saying what Bush wanted him to say...to "stay the course" until Bush's term is up? What has happened to those who defied Bush? They aren't part of the circle anymore, are they? We knew what he was going to say....and, that's what he did say! His token removal of some troops will assuage the Republicans who have lost faith and respect for Bush...for a while.

No...for one simple reason. Their muscles are way too weak even to be able to lift the general's boots, let alone shine them.

They aren't qualified to ask him questions. And moveon.org ought to be ashamed of themselves for putting out that treasonous ad.

They were utterly shameful. Rep. Sanchez is a Joke on many levels. If It were me in the chair? I would have told them to kiss my ***, And stop playing politics and rooting for us to lose.

How do you know if he is telling the truth? All the rest of the people that didn't agree with Bush were fired. I think he is just trying to keep his job like most Americans today.
