Strange! I am quite a fan of our first president and something of an American History buff. I have never heard or read any such quote. Please cite your source. I would be very interested to see for myself.

I've never heard that. But if he did say it I would answer that antisemitism was pretty much universal at that time and finding an antisemetic quote is not that big of a deal.

That can not possibly be true. You had better produce your source if you are expected to be taking seriously. That sounds like a bunch of crap, can not imagine he would have used the term "America" either at that time.
