As much as I oppose the Iraq fiasco, up to now I have supported the decision to continue funding it, despite Bush's behavior--soley because of the potential hardship a cutoff of funds minght impose on our troops.

But this HAS to be stopped. It's time to cut the funds. If we don't, more of our men and women in uniform are going to die than if we force the issue.

That's a tough call--but its time to stop allowing Bush to use American soldiers as hostages to keep his damned war going.

As an educator/tutor I believe it is my responsibilty to provide a variety of opinions (pros and cons if you will) for my students. I feel this provides them a broader understanding of world situations and also to make their own decisions. Why should I be punished for doing so? The majority of my peers agree with me, but have refused to take a stance on the subject. I thought the U.S. was a place of free speech?

Europe or America?

All of us in Europe have fought with everyone else so many times - as recently as the 1940s we were all at war with each other!

With the exception of their Revolutionary War, the Yanks have always been our friends.

However, modern day American policy upsets and alienates a lot of people and they also did fund the IRA terror campaigns (which killed people in mainland Britain) which makes it sometimes hard to feel allegiance to them.

So who would you prefer to be allied with. America? Or Europe?

She violated the Constitution when she authorized Bush to go into Iraq, without a declaration of war, in the first place! No where in the Constitution does it say that the US goes to war IF the United Nations approves the action first! Now, because Hillary Clinton, and everyone else who authorized Bush to go into Iraq, didn't do their Constitutional duty and either declare war or not, they can all say: "If I knew then, what I know now.".
Well damn it! She knew it was unConstitutional to go war without a declaration of war!

The United States Military is not the United Nations Military!
When are people going to demand that their representatives uphold and defend the Constitution?

"On Sunday, Bush's homeland security adviser Frances Fragos Townsend sought to play down bin Laden's importance — and added a taunt, saying he was "virtually impotent."

But terrorism experts say al-Qaida's core leadership is regrouping in the lawless Pakistan-Afghanistan border region. The latest National Intelligence Estimate says the network is growing in strength, intensifying its efforts to put operatives in the United States and plot new attacks. "

bush's homeland security adviser is a security risk! Osama virtually impotent? This lady needs to resign!

In the 2004 video, ObL was wearing dirty military field fatigues, his beard was gray and unkempt, the video was shot outside....basically he looked like a man on the run.

In the most recent video, he is wearing clean robes, his hair and beard are dyed black, he is giving his propagnda speech in a clean environment.....basically he looked like a man getting ready to watch TV and relax for the evening in his Lazy Boy recliner.

If Osama was still being actively hunted by US forces, would he look so relaxed and at ease?

In the days that followed 9/11/01 I saw an American Flag in every window. We all united for awhile it seemed. Now I ask on the 6th anniversary can we still stand united and set aside being a Republican or Democrate forget our opinions and our differences. Can we show respect and honor to those who lost their lives and those who still grieve the loss of their loved ones. Please reply with your agreement to stand with me.. lets see how many answers we can get!
