Is the *77 phon number a real number. I got an e mail that if u are being told to pull over by an unmarked police car that u should dial *77 and see if the cop is real. please give me as much info as u can on this myth. Thanks

No, use 911 . That *77 is an urban myth and might not work everywhere:

That one has been going around email for at least 5 years.
#77 only works in Virginia.
